Okay do I want to plug in the microwave and zap something or do I want to go with tuna sandwiches for dinner?

I'm proud of my city, and its dedication to quality education. A snippet from a recent Superintendent's message:

Good job all around--parents, teachers, coaches, counselors and, of course, the kids.

Third night of bowling, not in a row, above 100s..
Still want to reach to the 114ish range next time, but sometimes impossible, also saw a mutual friend of my brother-in-law, and sister tonight.
It was excellent chatting with him:) I just instant gram him sometimes :P

I like actually going to the polling place to vote. It's in a school basement for me and that setting brings back fond memories.
Aw, that's cute. :) And bravo for voting!

I have to vote by mail now, but however one does it, it's a great thing. I take my privilege of voting very seriously, realizing that people in other places don't have that choice. I even voted while in the hospital!

In these days of foreign interference and fraudulently elected presidents, and the archaic, no-longer-relevant Electoral College, I still think it's important for everyone who has the right to vote do so. At least you'll know you tried...

I'm not sure what you're asking. Do you mean, why bother voting when Russia is manipulating the presidential race? Or what's so difficult about voting? Or something else?

PS Spell-check, Milo, spell-check. :D
Pell check Okay I will Pell check :P

Was just thinking about voting in general after the war ends. What did it cost, even if our world is broke ? Are we going to organized in different places, when the land is full of waste?

I don't know about any of that, but I do believe--strongly--that every American should vote, and I mean in every election, not just presidential.

As noted, I take my privilege to vote very seriously. I haven't skipped voting in many...many years. Decades, actually. I wanted to vote in the 1972 Nixon vs McGovern presidential election but, alas, I wasn't old enough. However, it gave me my first taste of crooked politics, activism, and more.

Even when it turns out that my choice didn't win, whether it's a state proposition, a local school board member, or the president, I feel good--and take comfort in--knowing that I stood up for what I believe in. And I happen to think everyone who's allowed to vote, should.

I HAVE to vote. Firstly, because many people died to give me that right. I owe my voting to honor their memory. Also, I have very strong political feelings and would have no right disapprove or even approve of a public official's actions unless I participated in the system. I don't I have missed many if any voting years since 1976.

Honestly do you feel like your improvement in your own soul,
has touched everyone when you decided to vote? Do you honestly do your homework for each politicians or do you,
gods forbid just blind vote? I have a friend, knew throughout time itself is a politician, he is one of the tax assesstors down here,
I touch base only throughout his facebook page every blue moon. But honestly there is always something so evil and yet so blindly that,
maybe some people just get so caught up in political ads.

I research every issue/person prior to voting--and here in California, where the propositions ALONE can take several days to read and assimilate, that's quite a feat! :)

The one and only time that I took a shortcut, i.e., voting straight party line and skipping all but one of the propositions, was when I was too sick to do otherwise. My helper--who doesn't vote --asked my permission and then voted for one prop that we both wanted, then helped me sign the envelope, and off it went.

As for political ads, I watch them, but realize they're totally biased. They're either turning their candidate into a saint and/or turning their rival into a devil. So I read a lot about them to see factual information on what they're about, see who's endorsing them, see how closely they match my ideals, etc. I do the same with the countless propositions. Then I make what I feel is an informed vote. That's the best I can do!
