Why is everyone on such a bad mood today? Texted my friend earlier and he got super duper mad. Valentines day. Sucks the life out of you.
 
Anyone need to travel from Xilinhot to Beijing or Tianjin and back again?

Wynd, Is this on your phone and you had a software update?

Think in some countries and jurisdictions they require that digital cameras make an audible indication when taking pictures that can't be muted, usually a shutter sound. Privacy reasons most likely. Most of them seem to be an SLR shutter click with motor-wind sound, probably because that's what many people would recognise as a camera taking pictures. Although on a Canon digital camera I had, could change it to a bird tweeting sound, but could not mute it completely. My Samsung phone is like that, can have it all muted, except for the camera sound and doesn't matter what camera app I use it's still the same. So it's the phone's software itself doing it. Although I found holding a finger over the speaker mutes it quite effectively....LOL.
 
Did anyone have a good Valentines day? I had a great day with my girlfriend. Took her to my house for a while because neither of us wanted to go out to eat and ordered pizza instead. Highlight of the night was her thinking the gig bag near my computer had a guitar in it, but was actually my modular trumpet gig bag with a laptop backpack add-on. Being a good boyfriend, I played a few songs for her. I was 11 years old when I started playing the trumpet in June 2002.
 
had a great V day:) we ate taco bell and watched a recorded episode of SNL.:)

My son plays the alto sax..started when he was 10...he's 11 now:) He's pretty talented he is first chair. ( makes me glad I told him he didn't have the option of not continuing to play when he started middle school)
even though I let his brother opt out of band when he started MS!!:eek:

They are talented in different area's!! My oldest is a natural athlete...he's very good at Sports..esp Lacrosse...so I told him he had no choice in that..he had to play:D

same goes for advanced math or Languages...no choice

I won't do that when they get older...they need to be able to make their own decisions in life..including the consequences that come with it...but for now...I'm sticking with my evil plan.
besides I know he wanted to continue but was on the fence because I know some of his friends didn't..and I didn't want him NOT to continue because some whoo haaas think band is nerdy in Middle school.....

besides... they know it's really just me telling them how good they are...without telling them how good they are...if you know what I mean:rolleyes:
Universe doesn't revolve around them...etc etc etc..They have an obligation to the family to work hard and be the best that they can be..especially if they have a natural given talent..it is a gift ..so you better take it and run with it..etc etc...go the distance or go home....Yikes! yes yes I am competitive but I'm not sorry..so...

What I wrote didn't come out right!! I'm not an authoritarian parent at all! I don't believe in spanking or hitting my answer is always yes
Unless it's no but if it's no I mean it and they know it cuz it's always yes so there are never any arguments they are never in trouble open doors for girls say yes ma'am and no sir teachers tell me how well behaved and genuinely caring they are and they are happy because they know I love them unconditionally and I am proud of who they are no matter what
They are wonderful respectful young men and I like to think that I had something to do with that

My random thought for the day is if the egg really did come before the (KFC genetically "modified" boneless) chicken .... then who sat on the egg? :confused:

My other random thought of the day is where did all the legendary Kung Fu masters go? :)
