Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

I hate that too. The part that I hate is when people decide to show up to work sick and spread their germs all over the place. Stay home where you'll get better faster and leave the rest of us with better odds of avoiding getting sick in the first place!

Don't worry, i'm not a spreader! ;-) I didn't know I was sick when I got in, and I work in an office by myself, wash my hands a lot (most especially when i'm sick) and have hand sanitizer in the office. Besides, I work an hourly wage, so if I'm not here, I'm not making money. Gotta hustle for that green.

Anywhozits, right now, the only thing really bothering me... is the fact that I donated something that I didn't mean to over the weekend! I had a basket full of donate-ables, and it's been on my lanai (balcony) for MONTHS, so I finally decide to get rid of it... except I don't actually go through it to see what i'm donating, because in my head, I'm thinking "If I haven't used it for months, I don't need it..." WRONG. I just recently started hitting the gym again, and I need a bag. I got that bag as a gift from a good friend, and it's been discontinued. I'm going to the thrift store this afternoon to see if I can buy my own bag back! Damnit.

And toaster crumbs!

You don't know how hard I laughed when I read that at the end. It was just soo random!

Yea, but they do like NEVER go away. I cleaned it once and thought I had shaken and slammed all the crumbs out. I go to turn it over again, and BAM!!!... More crumbs! It's like, did someone just use the toaster in hyper speed while I was cleaning it and I didn't see it? WTH!!!

What really grinds my gears is when you're out shopping and you get idiots walking as slow as a snail infront of you, not moving out the way to let you past, and when women with prams think they can walk into you and run you over with their pram! "JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE A BABY IN A PRAM, DOESN'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO RUN ME OVER WITH IT!"

Another thing that grinds my gears is when I answer someone's question on this forum, then 10 minutes later, some smart ass has wrote exactly what I wrote, why do that  (not mentioning any names)

Rant #2483890 - I really hate it when customers call with one issue, you fix it, then they have another issue they want you to fix, then they want you to help connect their bluetooth but they dont know what kind of bluetooth it is and they have the nerve to think that I should know... Then after we've been on the phone for 45 minutes your friend in the background grabs the phone and tells you that he/she has an issue with his/her phone. So much for making my extra .50 an hour this week.

Rant #293420 - Its not our fault you have hundreds of thousands of contacts on outlook and dont want to sync them all to your EVO using HTC sync. And its not our fault that you didn't do research on the phone and the features before running to the sprint store to get this 'cool' phone so that all your friends could see how cool your are (not).

Rant #2395902 - A customer calls saying he's having issues with his EVO and his computer not connecting to the hotspot. States he took it took it to the store and they claimed everything was working and was even able to connect using the computer in the store. (perhaps he has a crappy computer). I had this fool try many different steps (i.e. disabling security, changing the security type, changing the SSID and the passphrase etc.) nothing worked. So I told him we would have to reset his phone... He went crazy telling me he wanted a new phone. I then proceeded to tell him that we can issue him a replacement after all troubleshooting steps have been taken and the final step is to reset the phone. He went off telling me that he was not resetting his phone and he wanted to speak to a Sup. My Sup gets on the phone and this fool has the nerve to tell my Sup that I was rude with him. Really? But you were the one that told me what you wasn't going to do when all I was trying to do was help get your hotspot working... I hope he drops his sh*t and his screen shatters...

Had he not been such an asshole I probably would've gave pointed him in the direction of AF. (Cant really tell him to 'root' his phone since that would cause Sprint to lose money and Sprint are starting to listen to our calls). Oh well, sucks for him...

today whats been grinding my gears is customers who wont buy insurance on their phone. Past 3 or 4 fascinate sales people have not gotten any form of insurance. The plan we offer them is 60$ upfront for 2 years of coverage, 75$ deductable, its not next day delivery but usually its 2 days. I explain to them that the phone is over 500$ if they dont have a contract and if theres any form of damage to the phone it wont be covered under warrenty. ill mention the monthly insurance as well no go.

i literally grind my boyfriend's car gears when i try driving it....does this qualify as a legitimate reply for this thread? hahaa

ahh yes. i work at a cell store too and it's actually alarming the amount of people who do not insure their $500+ phone...then i see them come in a month later either having destroyed it or lost it etc...and it's my fault that that's happened. *sigh*
