Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Sheesh, even here in Taxachusetts there is no sales tax for used stuff. I assume it is because the cost of acquisition is always greater, therefor you are selling at a loss.

When ppl who park so close you can't get in your car! Ugh thank goodness I squeezed in there!

/agree Thats downright rude. There's a special place in Hell for people who park too closely (or as I call it "abandon their car"). I always check to make sure they didn't dent or scratch my car.

That happened to my friend in NM and the police told her they wouldn't file a report because she didn't see it happen. Even though the huge scratch was white, the guy's car next to her was white and he was harassing her about the fact that he had blocked her from getting into the car.

O wow now that is crazy! I would of been mad! But Yea I check my car when ppl park too close! I just don't get it like you know you had issues getting out move it! Or at least fix it where your not right on the line!

Then there's those people who park half a car length from the car in front, effectively using TWO spaces

Hanging's too good for 'em!

;)

It's those dratted crew cab long beds on some pickups. I've seen them park where it says compacts only with the back end of the truck sitting in the road in a shopping center parking lot.

People who just abandon their cars apparently don't know there are 320 million other people in the country besides themselves! They only see as far as the end of their nose.

Ugh, my day's been a bit annoying at work so far. Some of the customers I've been dealing with are complaining about the littlest things.

*sigh* Could someone please give me an aspirin?

The Lounge being dead grinds my gears.
Amazing how much of a difference it makes moving it from the top of the list to the bottom. Guess nobody makes it past the huge list of phones.

People who insist on setting the thermostat to unrealistically low temperatures, and then complain about being cold in the morning.

If you didn't want it to be freakin' 72

but I like it cold at night so its snuggly for sleeping...but its too cold in the morning when i pad around downstairs for my coffee..you used to think my high matinence was cute...:p:p:D:D

I get grumpy when I am more-or-less kicked out of bed by adult children and my living room is overrun by even more of them...

I have a tiny little spot in the corner of the living room that I can sort of call my own space, though everyone and their grandchildren regularly invade it and mess it up. When I am woken up out of a dead sleep just to go turn the thermostat up and I have no place to sit, I get a little put out.

Isn't it funny the stages we go through as parents! When my kids were babies I couldn't wait for them to get a little older so I could just sleep!! Then when they were toddlers I couldn't wait for them to be preschool age.. Then they started kindergarten and it started to whirl by.. Now I'm begging please please stop growing up don't leave please stay a little while longer
Haven't quite hit the teenage years yet so ...:p
