Regina 3D Launcher Anyone?

thats how ive ran my X for the past month and a half. should i REALLY try different launchers?

oh dear lord YES!...LauncherPro, Go Launcher, or ADW...pick one and run with it...although i would hold onto your butt...because you might lose it when you realize how much snappier and smoother your screen transitions can be...
 
I was able to enter my ZIP code and that worked. Even stated Phoenix for the city.

Still installing and uninstalling and learning. Doesn't seem to be "choppy or laggy" on my DX.
 
I used it for 5 days or so, and I'm back to LPP. It was decent, especially for a freebie, but just wasn't great. And I noticed it sucked up my battery, I went from 30+ hours to 18-20 hours.

Still using it as my launcher. I have had no issues with battery life, but than again when in the car on NAV it is being charged. Normal usage there and in all other ways.

I just may try LPP.

Pretty, but back to LPP for me. I wouldn't mind one of these 3D launchers if they'd let me use my scrollable widgets - the LPP widgets are great, but before Fede introduced them, I bought Pure Messenger which works fine too so I'm not tied to the LPP widgets... just the ability to scroll.

I use a scrollable agenda widget on GO Launcher, works great.

remember this app is free you cant beat that. yes i have spf shell and i still think i over payed .I cannot resize widget and can not adjust widget where i can put them any where on the screen . on spf shell. For 15.00 it should be able to do this and more .

GO Launcher is free and does most of that, so I'm not sure Regina "For a free launcher it the best"... Does sound like it has some potential though, I will have to keep an eye on it.
 
I tried this earlier today and I just installed SPB 3D.

I pick SPB most definitely over this. Yea for Regina being free its fine. I wouldnt say its the best tho. I would give that a toss up between ADW Ex, Launcher Pro Plus, Go Launcher Ex and stock GB launcher for the X.

I think I've gone thru every launcher that's out there, and some are really excellent. However, I always come back to LLP or ADW... more LLP though.

Fed just released an upgrade yesterday, and combined with the latest GB leak my DX simply screams along.

Really comes down to personal preference -- it's just fun playing around with all of them. Helps to be A.D.H.D. too. :-)
 
Every time I go to my market on my phone, it seems like there is an update for Regina. Has anyone tried this in awhile? I might for a week and see if the updates have done anything significant.

I have been using it since Day 2 with no problems or issues.

The Regina widgets are a different story that I assume will be improved / fixed one of these days. In any case I use other apps that more than satisfy my needs.

The updates to the launcher seem to come roughly every 4 days, but other than Day 1 FCs I have had no other problems.

Well since I was suckered into buying SPB back when it was released I don't see this one being better. Had I not bought it, this one might appeal to me.

I use stock now all the time, I Launcher Pro was laggy, stock is smoother but it doesn't hurt to try
 
Tried this out last night. It's a great idea and I see a future for it but I'm not going to stick with it right now. It did have some lag (but to give the launcher credit that may be because I had 3 launchers - stock with nothing on it, Go Launcher EX fully loaded with widgets and then Regina).

If I had seen Regina when I was deciding with which launcher to go with (moved from LPP because of the jitters/lag it had on my DX) I may have gone with it but now I've got Go L EX set up and organized the way I like it so no real reason to switch. Not seeing any huge benefit yet.
 
Slow as hell at first but seems to get faster as you use it. May mess with it for few days.
Please tell me you can set the app bin to vertical scroll...

It does work pretty quick after you use it. Seems like it has to do something every time you open something new. Then after that it is quick. My dialer seems to work better with it than with Go. For some reason my dialer is slow with Go Launcher.

Where are PREFERENCES?
