haha at least you guys have a sense of humor. There really is a lot more "source" derived information over here it seems. I wonder why?

I get stressed over work, bills, etc. If talking about electronics stresses you out...there's a pill for that! :)

Can't really comment about the amount of "source" derived info (not even sure I'm clear on what you mean)...but I barely have time to keep up with this place, let alone the other sites.

But back to the TB... Anyone hear of any docks or anything that will be available at launch (whenever that is). I think it would be mighty cool of HTC/Verizon threw a car dock in the box (especially for the $299.99 price tag). Seems I never seem to get any extras with any of the devices I purchase anymore and something like that would be a nice change of pace.

I would imagine any generic car dock will work for the blunderbolt as long as its nice and padded on the inside. But a proprietary HTC version would be nice yes.
 
What you mean there are two HTC Thunderbolts trolling two different Android topic forums and both of them like to shoot their mouths off, I mean how likely is that?


Well I would have to say very likely that they have no idea each others exists I mean I could easily see two different people become so enamored with what was being put out on the phone and growing increasingly upset with what has played out.

I mean how many people here are using variations on the Thunderbolt name?

So I would hold off on accusing our HTCThunderbolt just yet.

I really don't care if it is the same person or not. What people post elsewhere on the internet is not my concern.

So please, there should be no accusations by anyone. Only thing that matters here...is what is posted here.
 
I agree droid forum moderators are way to uptight I hate that website now there a joke

dollars to donuts the information Ben5 is currently withholding involves tiered data pricing being introduced with the thunderbolt... but at least the 17th is still looking good.

I've had to collaborate with a few of them in the past for some "android wide" issues. I've got nothing bad to say about any Mods or Admins there.

But anyway...how bout that Thunderbolt :D

That is exactly what happened. And their Mods have ZERO sense of humor. I graduated school a long time ago, and the last time my boss talked down to me I told him to watch his tone. I'm definitely not going to put up with in in a @#$% internet forum.

This place, however, is nice :)

Latest on the Bolt in another forum is that they are working hard to meet the 17th. I'm still betting on the 31st.

Nope. Verizon has a penchant for doing things at the last possible minute ("Summer" release of 2.2 for the X coming on September 22... last CALENDAR day of Summer) and then patting themselves on the back for making their deadline. If the 17th is missed, then I think they go straight to the 31st and then throw themselves a big "Q1!! WE DID IT!" party on Twitter, Facebook and anywhere else people will listen.

Yeah, I feel the same. For us though, we would appreciate an honest "reason" why there is a hold up.

But I don't know how someone who isn't a fanatic like us would take the news of the delays (if it has been because of device/network related problems)??? I'm sure HTC and Verizon don't want to create a bad stigma for this device and/or where consumers question the "quality".

Yep.. I would be so relieved if they just came out and said all the problems. I know it will be good when it comes out, I just want to know what the hold up is. I hope we see an announcement after Friday (iFad 2)
 
Aaaaah... shades of the old infamous official droid incredible thread. Lots of controversy, there. As I recall, it had millions of views. and hundreds of thousands of posts. It was amazing! (Steven sings "memories" to himself). :) Carry on.

No controversy here Steven...this is actually a gathering of people who are taking part in search and rescue operations. Seems Verizon has lost a few million defenseless phones and we're all diligently trying to locate them! :D

I was actually just in a vzw call center for training not to long ago. You know what was posted all over the walls? Thunderbolt posters!!!
