Why is DLNA a bloatware?

Backing up and freezing apps with Titanium Backup removes them from the app drawer.

Not for me, yes i tried a reboot. I just added .bak to anything I didn't want
Never mind I see what you are saying
You mean to add .bak then freeze it?
Just checked in TiBu, first I froze it then added .bak and now it doesn't show up in TiBu

No, I just press on the app that I want to apply the freeze to and press backup, then freeze. A message even pops and says that it will not appear in the app drawer. I've checked each one that I've frozen and they are not in the app drawer.

Ok I see you made a backup with TiBu. Yeah I definitely think this is one of the easier ways to do it. Personally I just add .bak
Do you have a licensed version?...of TiBu

Freezing them did remove them from my app drawer.

If you freeze Talk the market will not download anything though, I had to thaw that. I wish I could remove it, I never use it for anything.

Do you guys actually see a performance or battery life difference after removing the bloatware?

I haven't touched any of it yet and I wasn't going to unless it makes a noticeable difference.

If you have root explorer then just add .bak
if not I don't know if this would work but maybe you could do an adb pull, rename, then push it back
I don't know haven't tried it

Hm, I'm trying uninstall apps with Titanium, but it says "Failed to locate the apk file "..
Any ideas?

Quite a lot. Did you do a factory reset after deleting and freezing?
