Nope, you don't need those extra ones. You can uncheck them. You only need the SDK Tools and Platform Tools. And you can use whatever the current version is. Thanks for letting us know - looks like it's time to upgrade my Android SDKI'm at step 5 with the recommended method on HTCdev site. I ran the Android SDK manager and it comes up with not only the Android SDK tools and Adroid SDK Platform-Tools, but also a separate folder for Android 4.0.3 (API15) with subdirectories of "Documentation for Android SDK; SDK Platform; Samples for SDK; ARM EABI v7a System Image; Sources of Android SDK"
Do I install those packages as well? The directions don't say to install them but they come up pre-checked and the directions show an older rev7 rather than the rev17 that is current.
Any help would be great.
