Root [ROM][4.0.4][BETA] CM9 for Virgin Mobile and Sprint 10/3/2013

Just downloaded. About to flash

Ok performance seems to be better eventhough I didn't run it long. The reason I didn't was that I started playing subway surfers and all of a sudden it said it couldn't connect to facebook so I checked and it said I don't have service. Like it didn't even try to connect

I've been having that problem as well, but I figured it was part of the 1x/3G issue. Just been turning mobile data off then on again the entire time.

This is somewhat off topic, but is there any way to do the equivalent of ##VIRGIN# in CM9 in order to reset my data? All of a sudden, I can't use my data on ANY ROM. It's weird, too. When I enter "Phone Information," it says I am connected, and I can ping Virgin. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I flashed the new kernel and tried to play around, device was very sluggish. Flashed back to the 13 april kernel kenharkney extracted and it seems to be working better.

In the spirit of "there are no stupid questions" & i'm no where near being a "Dev", But I looked at every line of this "System Info" pastebin, and every where it said or asked "Network type", It always said "1xrtt" instead of 3g,..Could this mean anything
(20 to 30 plus) Network type references

Could it mean that were on 1xRTT instead of 3G:eek:
...dun..dun..dun..

Jk:p

Try this one.

Added and enabled Zram driver
Enabled KSM
Increased read ahead
Updated kgsl
Freed some ram thanks to dm47021. 358MB to 381MB
some other small things.

You can manage KSM and Zram in performance>memory management.

Just flashed. Seems better then the last kernel. I put ZRAM to 18%, and I enabled KSM. But I really haven't test everything that I usually do so I'll update this post later. :)

Update: After I did what I usually do on a regular basis(Facebook, Music, YouTube, Texting, ect) it was not like the other one (good, the last one was sluggish). It is now more snapper and smoother.
