I recently solved this problem today. The ril is much more stable and now instantly connects to the towers. Still no 3g though.

I was onto it but just focused on other things. I'll post a updated build later on today. Unrelated question, does anyone have problems with GPS locking on?

If by that you mean the gps gets a general idea of my location, but won't be accurate as to which town I'm in, then yeah. Also, when navigation is running, it takes a few tries to get it to find me and start navigating.

Okay, thanks. I may have GPS fixed as well. It now takes about 3 to 5 seconds for a lock on my location.

Yeah actually my gps couldn't find me today in navigation. It tried for about 5 minutes and just used my girlfriend's phone instead.

Lol yup that's why I posted the link. Plus they were talking about how to back port the GB drivers for the existing camera which was an idea I had mentioned previously.

Hey its cool we all like updates and bleeding edge lol, the camera and signal issue is going to take some work and depending on his machine, build speed and when he's done in house testing will determine when he releases. Devs typically don't release something they've not ran themselves. :)

I'm pretty sure he was talking about my amazingly phenomenal battery life update. Well you must first drink of the magical elixir and then fast for 20 days in the middle of the desert and then only when you truly believe, You will have AMAZING BATTERY LIFE!

Very cool and thanks for the update. Everything I've read seems to point to back porting the GB camera would be easier. If you need a tester pm me.
