Root [ROM][4.0.4][BETA] CM9 for Virgin Mobile and Sprint 10/3/2013

Bluetooth still randomly disconnects for me after 20min or so. ROM seems overall a little faster though!

I haven't worked on yet. I don't even have a Bluetooth headset or stereo to reproduce the problem. Next time it happens get a logcat.

I would also like to report a bug: My friend sent me a picture via MMS and it would not download. I tried several different times on both wifi and data.

Mms seem to be working fine here so it must be something going on in your area. Does it still not work?

Any ideas on the ringtone issue? I've also noticed another issue. When I was running this rom I noticed that no matter what music player I used the songs would cut in and out and skip. I reflashed sliepnir 2.4.0.3 and no songs skipped or cut out. I thought it was my music at first but running a different rom and it doesn't happen. Just wanted to put that out there. I used the same player for both roms.

Also, Great work so far! this is my favorite ROM, even though I have yet to try very many out. when this goes beta (not sure how long that will take) I will be sooo HAPPY!

This rom is getting better and better. The rom keeps going slow for me though even though I've tried all the settings. Maybe my phone doesn't like cm9 or something.

Also just a thought, I accidently flashed your old cm7 rom recently and holybajebus it's amazingly fast and awesome. You should work on it again :) just a thought.

CM7 with Achep's ics theme, hmm Mmmm.

I think while a stable CM7 would be cool that it would be a step backward at this point given the amount of progress made on CM9. As side from the camera and a some other small things this ROM is close to an RC. I say we keep on supporting phenom and pushing forward. :)

My goal is to get cm9 stable so I can start working on cm10/10.1.

Alas...its still GB regardless of how you skin it. :-/

True, true. No disrespect intended. :) We all appreciate the hard work.

I second that man I finally was able to get the roms to boot up but on any of them if I try to restore my data it boot loops anyone wanna help..

I have never restored data from recovery. I always use titanium backup. I have never had a problem other than an app or two that had issues.

Same here and its usually a game that I'm pretty far in.

If you restore data from a backup of a GM rom to an ICS rom, it will cause boot loops. If you have something that you just can't loose in the backup, like contacts or sms or wifi data; try Nandroid manager on the play store. It can restore specific elements from a nandroid to your phone. I have never tested it from a GB nandroid to an ICS filesystem so I don't know if it will be any better, but it's worth a shot:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.h3r3t1c.bkrestore

There are also apps that are made to specifically back up your text messages, call logs, and other important data. It might be worth trying something along those lines too.

currently stuck in lg logo with no other way to get a different rom on the phone because of the sd card bug, any help would be appreciated but its not my main phone so im not majorly worried.

My steps went as followed:
1.full wipe data/factory reset
2.wipe cache
3.wipe dalvik cache
4.flashed may 24th build
5.flashed gapps
7.reboot
8.stuck :/

Sometimes its good to mount system/data prior to a flash.

I restored several apps with data using Titanium from GB to CM9 and I've never had any problems.

Yeah titanium backup works fine most of the time... With the exception of system apps, for me at least. I mainly meant nandroid backups cause issues.
