Heck.... whether its been Tagged, or Sleipnir rom, I only ever have about 100 MB of memory free..... get a lot of reboots whenever I run any encryption or high mem apps

I always have a MINIMUM of 150 MBs free.. but then again I'm a RAM nazi ;P

Speaking of RAM will any of the OE roms or kernals work with Swapper or Swapper 2 apps. I was reading somewhere that they can increase your RAM if your devices kernal is supported. I also read that you can brick your phone if you try it and it is not supported, so I did not want to mess with it. With the ICS Roms and overclocking some extra RAM would make this phone even better.

question? can you tell me what a few of the governors do ive always seen them in cpu controlling applications and have only used smartassV2 because its been recomended as very useful. just a little curious

Every release appears more and more stable, this one is no exception. Aside from the 1x/3G issue and the camera this ROM is solid. Well done.

Just a quick thought and not to question anyone's intelligence or insult anyone...but when flashing a new ROM do it the SAME way every time.
A. Verify your download and md5 checksum.
B. MAKE A BACKUP!!!
C. Wipe EVERYTHING!(format/wipe system, data, cache, dalvik cache)Don't let being lazy cause you problems.
D. Its an extra step but it works for me and that's mount system and data partitions.
E. Flash your zip(s)
F. Reboot(If specified by the OP fix permissions.)
So in short this is my method I've been using since forever (G1 CM2) Lol. I've just never seen so many people having issues flashing ROMs so I thought I'd share this.

Init.d definitely works now, without the need of install-recovery.sh, i get the same benchmark results and fps using antutu. ROM seems slightly snappier though. Thanks phenom!

@phenom have you looked at the lg open source page of their site under mobile? There's several ICS upgraded devices one that jumps put at me is the Viper (CDMA and the same camera) I was thinking being able to look at that driver/hal/lib combo may give you some insight. Just something to chew on.
