Root [ROM][4.0.4][BETA] CM9 for Virgin Mobile and Sprint 10/3/2013

If anyone else is having any weird radio issues ie dropping into roaming or complete loss of signal please post your logcats. (Radio specifically) let's give the dev information not just "it's not working" or "its broken..." roms are a community effort :):thumbup:

I'm not having any problems with the radio
 
This version is running much better than the last version (I was getting lots of reboots before, now so-far not rebooting. Also, battery life in last version was very weird after reboot).

On the new version I have lost 3g access even though the 3g is still showing. When I turn data off and on, it comes back but it is dropping after a while (and you can't see that it's dropped because the 3g still shows).

The "3g" is a persistent faux status. Its running at 1xrtt:6. I'm having the same issue...occasionally getting a roaming indicator in addition to lost data.

I haven't touched anything to do with the radio for awhile and we live in the same city and my 3g is working pretty well. Has this always happened or just this update? can anyone else confirm this problem?

Its intermittent not constant and I redownloaded over wifi via laptop and tranfered it/md5 verified. So the download is good. Its not constant but the data definitely isn't as consistent for me as previous builds. If I can I'll get another radio log next time.it happens. Are you getting actual evdo?

It has happens to me once or twice in awhile(it would go blue to grey in the middle of heavy internet usage). And once with roaming.
 
Great needed update, working fine and faster all we need is camera, but I'm fine with it right now. Keep up the great work phenomx4 thanks
 
@phenom- OTA updater is giving an "invalid ROM and deceive name combo" error. I'm thinking its sensitive to capitals, seeing as that is the only difference. Any chance you could check your repo for the correct ROM name?

Can you list issues/bugs with the rom other than what's already known so I can start working on them? It'd be a big help since not everyone will experience the same problem.

I'll start.

Camera.
NFC tags.
Google wallet.
Can be laggy.

Data randomly drops, starts roaming, or goes from blue to grey for like a sec then quickly comes back. (Happens to me everyonce in awhile)
 
When leaving the area of a wifi network, sometimes the device doesn't switch over to 3G automatically. Manually turning wifi off fixes this. Tested with my home and local public library's wifi.
 
Data loss and roaming
The wifi issue mentioned above and having to resign into networks repeatedly (eg McDonald's, Starbucks etc)

MMS issues? I am not receiving pics thru the messaging app.
 
Hey guys, long time lurker :smokingsomb: finally decided to register and post. Love this rom btw and thanks for the work put into it. Just wanted to add my bit about the 3g to 1x. My speeds have always been somewhat shotty with virgin but since switching from slepnir to this 3 builds ago i experience the same as others where i never get 3g anymore i'm always on 1x. on another note my data doesn't connect sometimes when i turn wifi off, i have to engage and disengage airplane mode to get it to connect even to 1x data most of the time.
the later issue did not happen with the last build(but ill take that over all the reboots anyday lol). Just thought i would try and help and thanks for all the hard work you rock!:D

I also experience native messaging app issues, I've learned to just use a third party app as a resolution. The problem seems to be that, all messages I try to send that are over 160 characters, come back as a fail to send. Meaning I can type 160...send successfully and then if I'm still needing to type more, I have to start a new message.

I also think there was mms issues, but I stopped using all together, because it was just an irritant.
