Do I also format the system ?
No. You can, but the script should take care of it for you.Do I also format the system ?
Data randomly drops, starts roaming, or goes from blue to grey for like a sec then quickly comes back. (Happens to me everyonce in awhile)
When leaving the area of a wifi network, sometimes the device doesn't switch over to 3G automatically. Manually turning wifi off fixes this. Tested with my home and local public library's wifi.
Data loss and roaming
The wifi issue mentioned above and having to resign into networks repeatedly (eg McDonald's, Starbucks etc)
Hey guys, long time lurker :smokingsomb: finally decided to register and post. Love this rom btw and thanks for the work put into it. Just wanted to add my bit about the 3g to 1x. My speeds have always been somewhat shotty with virgin but since switching from slepnir to this 3 builds ago i experience the same as others where i never get 3g anymore i'm always on 1x. on another note my data doesn't connect sometimes when i turn wifi off, i have to engage and disengage airplane mode to get it to connect even to 1x data most of the time.
the later issue did not happen with the last build(but ill take that over all the reboots anyday lol). Just thought i would try and help and thanks for all the hard work you rock!![]()
Just encountered a weird issue where my phone completely dropped service and did not receive SMS messages from last night until after I rebooted the phone (which also fixed the service problem).

Do you have any logs? I've never
experienced any service drops.

Sometimes usually when I'm listing to music the sound skips then completely stops when this happens no sound can be made by the phone (this happened to me while I was writing this) when this happens when I make calls it goes through but I can't hear anything from the other person and they can't hear from me a reboot temporarily fixes this but it is still annoying
Try flashing some of the old ROMs and comparing. That way you can be sure (and a good beta tester). Not to be a super complainer but it seems that this nd some of the previous updates have tended to use a lot more ram than I remember..
The biggest problem with CM9 for me is that the phone take forever to wake up and answer when someone calls me. The stock phone app takes at least 30 second to open and I usually miss the call. I have missed important job application call because of this problem. I don't think this phone will ever handle ICS in a stable way and I say we start to look back at CM7.
