Root [ROM][4.1.2]AWE Inspired Moonshine White/Ginger V2.9a Final[Works with stock device]

Option is under mounts and storage :D

Ahh, I see it. When I installed the ROM, I just did "wipe data / factory reset" and "clean to install new ROM" - then installed the zip. I did not format /system. The zip seemed to install just fine, but do you think I should redo installing the ROM since I did not format?

Thanks for the help by the way :)

No clean to install new rom formats system for u

I see. I was confused cause under your guide it says " 2: wipe data/factory reset, format system" - which makes it sound like you should format /system after doing a factory reset.

So for the future updates, go to format /system under mounts and storage, then wipe cache and dalvik -- this will not make me lose any apps? I believe I understand everything now.

In philz clean to install new rom formats system in addition to factory reset to save a step. I will update instructions :), u are correct for future updates :D

I just flashed the ROM and noticed that the little alarm indicator in the status bar randomly disappears and then reappears. Is this just my phone acting up? Did I do something wrong when I flashed it? Or is it just a bug?

Hey all. Just picked up an awe yesterday. Great phone except my 3g is horrendous. I was out and about today and no matter where i was the best DL was .13mb. When on my wifi, the network shows EVDO rev.B, but on 3G, it shows 1xRTT. Can VM fix this. TIA for any help or comments

Hey the problem started up again under the same circumstances. It was fine for a little while but then it started again.

The same happened to me before I ever flashed a ROM and it still does. The status bar must not like the icon. The alarm will still work and the icon disappearing is just a glitch and can b ignored. Ur alarm will still work.

Yup. I just reflashed it and the problem seems to have resolved itself. For now at least.

The only alarm issue you should have is the icon not showing on the lock screen. My recommendations is to go to settings/manage apps/ clear data from desk clock. Then with a root explorer go to data/data/ and delete the the com.google.android.deskclock.dbf file then reboot and wipe cache.
