It worked! And yes sir it was side-loaded. So what about boosting 3g speeds?
Thanks a lot BnE, and all the people who made this ROM possible!
Sadly the apps we edited (clock, contacts, phone, framework, systemui etc...) are all hard coded and modded at XML, jar, resources and classes levels. So that wouldn't be possible at this point. As for the YouTube issue I am unable to duplicate your issue. Can you get a logcat?
Ok so I downloaded CatLogs from the Play Store and I recorded me using the YouTube app. Idk if this helps. I can take a vid of the problem. But here are the logs.

Looks like it could be one of your xposed modules causing the issue. Do you have the full screen module or anything YouTube related?

I agree disable all modules and see if it still happens
From now on please use get logs...found here...
https://www.dropbox.com/s/9yjledhxaryp7l0/GetLogs.apk and post them to paste bin so we can determine what's a bug and what's a rogue app etc.
Enjoying the ROM, very well done but I noticed an error that happened twice so far. My clock randomly went back 30 minutes. So if it was 5, it said 4:30. I had to modify my time to make it go back to normal. Then this weird glitch happened again today.
Any thoughts on this?
Anyone?
I installed 2.1 and the ##DATA# menu doesn't respond when i type in the proper MSL. I had to revert back to stock. Usually, it just crashes after typing it in.
Are you guys aware that this happens?
Nope i think u are the only one that uses the menu lol, i will look into it
Anyone?
I do not have this issue either, i did have another issue with reboots, i narrowed it down to philz not properly formating cache, from now on i will be recommending cwm as formating cache with it cured my problem, will update stock instructions with cwm on next release
Since this thread is more active than mine (work REALLY got me tied up for updates, sorry) I thought id ask here.
Anyone having really bad pop noises or warping audio when listening to music or playing games?
For example I'll play a song and every 10-20 seconds itll go *fweorp* then its ok for a lil bit then do it again and again. Another, I was just playing Jack and Jill (awesome platformer, highly recommend) and same issue. It even stutters the phone every time it happens. Its not a graphically intense game by any means and the music is 8bit retro so I dont understand.
I dont have this issue AT ALL playing really intense games like Black Ops or Dead On Arrival 2 so I'm soooo confused.
Anyone else have any of these issues on either stock, AWEsome or CMThemed?
Thank You! Just got my AWE, Got it Rooted, Now time for a ROM..
I have also noticed the audio popping sounds when playing music (purely stock) it usually occurs in the event of activity switching, like turning the screen off or opening the music app back up and messing with equalizer settings.
Another thing worth noting I think, is that the phone seems to act really buggy when charging. The touch screen responsiveness stutters a bit and gets hung up on clickable things and causes misclicks on all kinds of shit....really an annoying PITA, but at least it's only while charging.
I'm willing to bet that both issues are software related, but I guess the charging thing could be hardware. I don't know any thoughts or similar happenings anyone?
As far as the charging issue I can relate with the screen issues etc. Also at times I'll have to reboot to get the charge to continue. I've noticed this since day one on stock software and modified. Not a hardware issue as far as I can tell, I've had 2 devices with the same intermittent issues.
I havent noticed any issues like that on mine. Ive been following this ROM since it came out
