Root [ROM][4.1.2]AWE Inspired Moonshine White/Ginger V2.9a Final[Works with stock device]

Do you think you could make the lock screen display the battery status without it being plugged in? If so that would be awesome. I hate having to use those apps that display it in the notification drawer.
 
Ok so no one laugh at me but im having install issues. This is embarrassing. I flashed rom, wiped data and cache and rebooted (I went through setup wizard so I KNOW data was wiped). Now im having screen flickers, no wallpaper (even after selecting one it doesnt show), and no status bar as well as app switching not working. I have a temp solution for myself being Switchr for multitasking, SlideLock for notifications, and just dealing with the other two issues. Anyone had a similar problem?

Seems like a signature error?? Im sure u formatted system?? Try just installing without wiping cache before reboot

Be sure to let us know what you think. The major hurdle I want to get over is the proprietary zte signal clusters. The AOSP stuff is all there, any input would be appreciated as we whittle the zte out of this ROM lol.

Holo light is becoming more and more the standard in Google apps as well as the OS itself. Granted in KK there's still a good bit of holo dark but its not as prevalent as it is in depreciated versions of the OS.

I'm just used to the Holo Dark. But I'll get used to it. Could there be a option in the settings where you can choose if you want to use Holo Light or dark? My EVO 3D Running PAC ROM had a option like that.

UPDATE: YouTube is kinda acting up. Like if I want to go back the image will kinda freeze but the audio will still be playing. And checking Disable HW overlays doesn't help either. Anyone else having this problem?

Theme toggle would be hard to integrate, every app would need resources for both light and dark most only have one or the other, as for youtube its probably a issue with the app as thats all thats affected, try clearing app data

I tried clearing the data but that didn't help
 
So apparently Lookout thinks Apollo, Browser, AdvanceS, and SystemUI are all threats. Why is that? Had to ignore them all.
 
Its looking amazing.
but hangouts says I need google services updated, and also says google services aren't available for my device. Do I ignore this?

This is a custom rom with many things modified. Any type of antivirus/anti malware apps will think the apps are a threat. I dont recommend any of these apps as all they do is wast resources

Came from stock un-rooted. Side loaded through Phil's by means of ADB on a windows XP. I used PDANET before connecting my device to the computer, so I know I have the right drivers. I used the clean to install ROM option. Then I sideloaded KitKat.zip

Also I seem to have problems turning my phone into a hotspot as well. Treve mod and PDANET+(fixfi) have both failed.

On a side note....
Is there any *REAL* way to boost your 3g signal?

All in all great job guys! I know even those of us not saying so truly appreciate your hard work, time, and energy!

Did u get any weird errors when clean to install new rom?? May want to try a reflash, did setup wizard show on first boot??
 
I did not get to reflash as I don't own a computer. I didn't get any errors either. Setup wizard did run on the first boot.
 
Ok try clearing app data for google services, if that doesnt work download rom for custom recovery and reflash, im assuming you side loaded philz recovery?

Sadly the apps we edited (clock, contacts, phone, framework, systemui etc...) are all hard coded and modded at XML, jar, resources and classes levels. So that wouldn't be possible at this point. As for the YouTube issue I am unable to duplicate your issue. Can you get a logcat?
