Root [Rom][5-26-12]Broken Out Spectrum 3.0 w/ Blitzkrieg Kernel

Agreed. My suggestion would be to wipe data/cache/dalvik and re-flash. But I'd be interested to know what apps/widgets he was using. Those suckers are a huge drain on battery and some, like NFL and Facebook are the worst offenders.
I found the trick to Facebook is to back out of the app with the back button instead of using the home button. I use Facebook a lot but it doesn't run when closed. I also turn off notifications.

It's coming up to football season so I will be using the nfl app, we will see how that works out.

I just tried to get StickMount from the play store and it refused to accept the spectrum as a valid device.

Why the hell can't the creator of ROM Manager spend a little time to update his program that so many people like myself have shelled out "donations" for, can get a little better use out of it.

At least do what ever it takes to have a notice put up at Play store so that people MIGHT be informed...

before getting mad. you should ask the dev so he can make the changes.

No reboots yet with reflash no wipe. *crosses fingers*. Anyway, no travesty I have not. I have had the GPS not want to kick in and require a reboot, but I've had that happen once before on stock also.

My mobile data connection has stopped functioning. Has anyone else experienced this on BrokenOut 3.0?

I had a somewhat similar issues...lost 4G and only had 3G in my "home" area which always has 4G coverage. Lost data entirely once, was able to fix by turning it on airplane mode, returning to home screen for a minute, and then re-enabling data. No probs since, appears to be a one time issue not related to Broken Out in any way.

Very simple: Koush is a busy guy. He works with the Cyanogenmod team and is one of the most popular devs in the Android community. If you saw his repos, the guy has a hundred of them for various phones and apps. I believe he simply hasn't been sent a Spectrum to dev... people forget you have to have a phone to really dev properly and I think he's got a Nexus as his 'daily'.

Yes. I found it would cut out, die and then come back on the other day when I was streaming music and then streaming Netflix. I chalked it up to my location, since I was @ the gym and get terrible reception there, but it's never happened to me there before. I had to reboot and it worked after that.

Thats kinda funny, I get crap reception at the gym too. I usually lose 5-10% in about an hour to an hour and a half in standby mode with nothing else on.

I should be back to Broken Out 3.0 soon, I was oncall this weekend and didn't have time to do a clean install with no data restore from titanium. I do like some of the visual mods (mostly the color scheme) from Eclipse 0.2 but prefer the usefulness of Broken Out 3.0.

Also the theme in Eclipse 0.2 makes some things unreadable as black text on dark gray is not useful, which gets annoying.

I don't recall, are you using JD? Even in standby, LTE sucks a ton of juice, so I find JD saves me quite a bit when I'm not on wifi.

I'm love the broken out ROM and want to keep it on my system but keep having stability issues. I wonder if I have the wrong file installed. Under settings it says I have broken out 2.0. Any help would be appreciated.

mt just forgot to update the version stats.

jeshbeast, reflash the rom after you finishing restoring everything. I see you are using TB. So after you have everything setup the way you want boot back into recovery and reflash the rom.

A LOT of reboots. Even after the reflash. Every time the system gets a little bogged down...reboot. antutu locks up and then a reboot every time I try to test.

something isnt right then. I can play intensive games for long periods on my spec with no reboots. You might have had a bad flash or some background app causing them.

Yeah not sure. Reflashed multiple times. Downloaded zip multiple times. Double clear all three cache. Never installed Bo 2.0 or 1.0 but not sure if that would matter. Perplexed on this...

Noticed some weird missing icon apps so was thinking maybe I need to install 2.0 then 3.0....ideas?
