Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

this is awesome, it's a huge milestone for MT development.

Im surprised that it runs so smoothly for being an alpha...I cant imagine how amazing it will be once a final version is released.

the devs have definitely without question outdone themselves.
you guys are awesome, greatly skilled, and really made the triumph better then just about anything VM could released

Hi guys, thanks for you hard work! Runs very smoothly. Just a suggestion: it is may be time to list what does not work instead of what works. At least this way bugs can be tracked. The major things that do not work:
1. Front Camera
2. Back Camera
3. GPS
...
101. HDMI

What else does not work?
 
Are the drivers for the cameras available from Motorola, or is it going to be something with adding it in some other way?

I'm not completely sure on that, but over at the Ideos forum they were saying that to get the camera working we may need a 3.0 kernel. At least for the Ideos so I don't know if it would be different for the MT.

PRL is not changed by flashing a rom.... But what is displayed can be.. I suspect that the correct prl cannot yet be read by the rom. TG had the same problem initially with cm7. Anyway, you are still running the same prl you were.

Flash doesn't work but that's a 4.0.3 issue I think..it sucks :( feel like I'm on a damn iPhone ..
 
Just out of curiosity.Does anyone know why the ROM is still a little sluggish,Is it the touchscreen,Something else or a combination of the two?
 
mantera, do you think you could put dates next to the build versions in the change log? Or possibly also in the title of the post for the current released build?

I could I suppose. But I don't really see the need for it since every new build I put up will have a different build number...
 
im still up messing with this new alpha rom "ICS" havent been to sleep yet since first release lol great job guys dont wanna put phone down im like a kid in a ice cream store :o
 
will the 3G issue be fixed in next build or is there something i could do on my end cause as someone said previously that the 3g coverage is little next to none and has a an issue connecting back up aftera deep sleep
 
Great work porting it to ICS and truly appreciate it.

Btw, does the haptic feedback work on the buttons - Home, Back, etc? I tried enabling it in the Settings but no effect. Any ideas?
 
Bluetooth voice commands (not voice actions, although they do not work either)do not work cannot initiate call using bluetooth, It starts then fails. Probably has to do with the same audio input issue as before.
