Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

Well I have this running with v6 super charger script . Nitro lag null. And kick ass kernelizer and this rom is booking lol HUGE difference.

Edit: ran quadrant and got 2100 with CPU set to 1ghz. Smartass2 , so.

I dunno if this has been brought up anywhere else but the CPU speeds are different than on CM7 in the performance settings. After flashing the first alpha the 1Ghz is 1017 MHz on CM9 but on CM7 it was 1024 MHz. Prolly doesn't make much difference I was just wondering why its different.

Oh and btw ive been on these forums for a while since before the first CM7 was released for the triumph and visit here everyday. I just dont post for some reason. I think this is just my second post on these forums so hello to u all.

Thnx for all the work u devs r doing. The alpha is amazing. Didn't expect things to be moving along this fast honestly.

Great Job guys

I so want to boot this, but I love wi-fi hotspot and this can't be my everyday ROM if I don't have that. Camera is secondary to Wi-fi Hotspot, but also an important factor for me.

I'm enjoying mine. No camera oh well. No HDMI it will come soon. No wifi hotspots I have wifi router at home. Anything else. I'm doing just fine.

Another small issue (probably tied into the battery icon not changing) is that the keycode lock option to not have to click OK (I think it's called the Quick unlock or something) doesn't work and I have to click OK.

BUT.. Proxy on Wifi works like a champ!!!!!

Pretty sure that was sarcasm. If not, we can all just ignore it. The devs know to work at their own pace.
Well, my humor sure got misinterpreted. I was trying to express my amazement at the rapid pace of development. Please, I meant no offense!

And I do think the devs here are wizards. And I am patient. And I hope the devs are enjoying this as much as I am.

Im on ALPHA 0.5.1.2 with a Huawei X6 u9000

Market gives me server error, I have tried to he flash the Google apps package several times.

Seems like there is a bug with the "back button" its acting strange or is this a feature.?

I can see some of you are using proxies for Google voice, can you recommend some?

Thanks for a nice build :-)

im still wondering why drivers cant be moved from stock build to a cm build without any hassle?

did any one notice that prl change with flashing this rom to 61007 becuase i was running 60683 but all good becuase i was doing network speed test and was getting 2080kbps down and 890kbps up

Interesting to know it runs on a Huawei X6. We have a bug (somewhere in the kernel probably) that locks up the capacitive buttons once in a while. Is this what you mean? The back button should work most of the time, I updated the touchscreen driver to only recognize the MT's order of buttons (instead of detecting other phones configurations like originally).

Somebody might know better than me, but I wonder if your back button issue could be because your using a different device?

Why can't stock drivers be moved to cm? Same reason you can't use win xp drivers on win 7.

I'm thinking about building every day, at least for myself. My build yesterday got 40 downloads, so it would appear there are a few people who appreciate it. Here i my build for today:

NOTE: You need to flash gapps every time for ICS ROMs. Even if you're upgrading without wiping, you still need to flash gapps.

That's weird. I have ICS on my tablet and I do reflash gapps every time , BUT I don't have to reenter my info. Instead of saying "removing and replacing" in CWM it says "updating"

I wonder why this is?

I think I found the fix for that: Gerrit Code Review

I'm gonna try building that in.

I dont know if its just me but the alarm doesnt work. The clock stops running if I try to set an alarm. Is this a known issue or could be fixed easily?

Also I really liked the feel of ICS on my Triumph and wanna say thanks to everyone involved.

mine works

I've been running CM9 all of today to help out with testing and hopefully provide some real-life bug reporting, and I noticed something with my data connection. It seems that the data connection will work fine, but stop working if the phone goes to sleep for a bit. When woken back up, the data connection doesn't resume correctly, and I have to toggle airplane mode to regain working data.

Essentially, I'll have my phone in my pocket for an hour or two, then try to use it. I'll notice that my signal bars are grey instead of blue, and I get no "up/down" transfer animation like I normally do. Any attempt to use the data connection at this point simply fails. Like I said, this is fixed by toggling airplane mode.

The only thing that seems like it might be related in my logcat is:

I have the same thing happening. I think it has something to do with the wake from sleep. It doesn't happen all the time though, but it does happen.
