Wifi runs cpu to maximum

cm9 its showing that it pegs the processor speed. And it sucks down battery. Really high draw.

Try deleting the "/system/bin/btwlancoex" file, wasn't sure if that was needed yet in CM9. If it works, then my CM7 commit should also be applied to CM9:

I think that's what TickerGuy's wakelock was for. Is it in this kernel?

Tickerguy only added kernel wakelock for the WLAN, not the 3G data.

I can confirm that this works, just deleted it, rebooted, and now my current cpu freq is 249 MHz with wifi on. :)

FPS is running MUCH smoother with it on now too.

Thanks Whyzor!

Now if we can get this recompiled into the next Update!! With the gps Fix and we're on our way to a beta :)

Wooo, I'm going to try this out.

ICS is such a treat to use. So much nicer than Gingerbread!

Edit: Deleting said file worked, performance is great now. Awesome. Thank you Whyzor.

Thanks Whyzor! After deleting that line in system/bin it's running much better.

Well, it is working better now... It shows cycling of sorts in the menu, but that is probably an anomaly. It is working better.

*sidenote* anyone running this full time notice the lower portion of the phone get really warm? (usually happens when using 3g/wifi) My temp gun is saying somewhere in the 85-90 degree mark. Battery widget is saying the battery temp has hit 98 degrees, but I question its accuracy. Just curious if anyone else has seen that occouring.

I've been running it full time and I'm having no issues with that. My temp actually seems to average lower than cm7
