Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

On .6.4 build. Wifi is completely borked. No tether, no connection. 3g dropped out last night, unable to resolve data issue. Had to flash back to .6.3 to get data back, as reboots couldn't fix it. Wifi worked fine on every build except for .6.4.

Did you try doing a full wipe and then a reflash 0.6.4? I don't have any issues with wifi being up. My 3g has been active all night. When I took my phone out of sleep this morning, I was able to access the internet no problem on 3g.

My wifi is completely fine except for the fact that the GPS seems to interfere with it, not that you would usually have both on at the same time anyway
 
I'm going to try to redownload .6.4 and try again. It takes me an hour to set the phone up after a wipe. Too many things that need to be just-so for me. I may have gotten a funky download.

*edit* reinstalled. Now OK so far. Will post any issues. thanks guys. Mantera, did you add anything more to the build prop that wasn't in .6.3?
 
In order to get face unlock to work, they need to get the cameras to work. They are working on that along with many other things and there is no ETA. They will let us know when they get it working.

Got to have camera first, not exactly at the top of the priority list at the moment. Facelock can be actuated via the settings menu, but if the camera doesn't work, then I'd have to say no bueno...
 
I'm not sure if this has been posted but on 6.3 and now 6.4 I have run into a issue where while playing music if I skip tracks in the music player to many times the sound driver seems to crash as when I tried to make a call after I had no sound even in the call but the call was placed. The 2 times I have had it happen have been with the headphone jack in use. the call I tried to place was done without a headset so the earpiece was what I was using.

The only thing that recovered sound was to reboot the phone but once on 6.3 that did not help.

I haven't noticed the GPS issue, but I have seen it not auto-connect on a reboot or enable. I have to go into the wifi settings, find my network, and tell it to connect. Anyone else seeing this?

Excited for 0.6.5!

Mine doesn't show any pattern in wether or not it auto connects, sometimes it does, sometimes not
 
Hmm.... I can confirm some tether issues: When wifi tethering neither my Optimus V nor Nook Colour (both running CM7) can even see the network, but my laptop with Ubuntu 11.04 connects just fine. While using USB tether, my laptop sees a 'usb0' network interface but the only address assigned is the automatic link-local IPv6 address. Disabling network-manager and running `sudo dhclient usb0` gives me nothing.

Thanks for all the hard work, and I'm eagerly looking forward to camera support :D
 
I love CM9! The only problem I have other than the camera not working of course it that Netflix videos don't work. The app works fine and finding/browsing selections worked great but when i play a video you hear the sound but all you get is a black screen. Please look into that. Thanks.

same with crackle. It uses flash to play movies. Flash doesn't work properly, therefore no picture.
 
So I'm on 0.6.3 and I've noticed the phone randomly reboots every now and again...do others experience this?

In furtherance of this, I was on a call and the phone rebooted. Funny thing is, I could still hear/talk with the caller, even while the phone was rebooting! WTF?!?! I watched the boot up logo and everything, all while the caller was still talking...Once rebooted, I just clicked the phone icon and it took me to the call in progress...just reporting this issue, it didn't drop my call, but I was perplexed...

hey guys stop complaining this is a alpa build . Once it gets to beta then you can start your moaning and groaning. Give the dev time they have come a long way in a short time and deserve some respect
