Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

Wow, the development on this rom is flying along, a big thanks to all the developers.

Some of the bugs I have noticed so far:

voice recording and dragon speak(mic apps?)
battery percent doesn't shown even when selected
no camera apps(obviously)
lower quadrant scores(I seem to be gettind around 2000 now vs 2350 with cm7)
calls seem to take longer to connect(not 100% on this one)
status light notifications don't seem to always work.
The game battleheart has issues.
Wifi works, but doesn't seem to automatically connect when I turn on my phone.

just flashed 0.6.4 seems smooth and stable. all my regular apps are working fine.

im going to try this as my daily for the rest of the week. gps and the 3G drop fix were what convinced me to try this as my daily for awhile.

i do use the camera alot but thats why i got a cannon :P

thanks for all the hard work. cant wait for the big 1.0 release.


PS. i know the camera needs source from moto and all that jazz to work. but, on the galaxy nexus with its almost instant photo capture. is that due to do hardware? like a faster image sensor or data bus, or is that all done in ICS software with generic camera hardware in other phones? i wonder if one day we could get a fast camera like that. only becuase the camera in miui, cm7 and froyo is too slow for any fast action.
 
Has anyone used the thunder.prop for this? If so how are games playing ( gameloft) games or other high demanding games
 
Hate to be a little bit of a dork on this, but with the recent advent of the wifi hotspot, does usb tethering work on the latest update as well? It's a core thing that I use and would love to know either way. Thank you, and thanks for all your hard work, devs!

Usb tethering doesn't work. wifi hotspot doesn't fully work either in this build.

becuase its causing the audio level to go past the max. its called "clipping" sounds like distortion.

youll do better to leave the bass where it is, and drop the trebles a bit.


also, what are you using, headphones or phone speaker. the phone speaker can only handle pushing the treble up, any bass boost will distort it a bit.

some headphones cant deal with a clipped signal. if you try to drive the speakers that far they distort.

its all basic stuff, the point being, dont do it, or get better headphones that can handle it

After deleting the sock music apk, copy the new music apk to System/app, reboot your phone, go to system/app and install the new apk
 
Most of my games don't work on the last build and there games that don't require much ram or anything so how's the hospot I haven't updated yet to the latest build because it updates frequently:) haha they should just wait and take out a huge build so they not update as much
 
Just want to post a big thank you to all the guys/gals working on this project! :) I love seeing these .1 updates as I am installing them all as they come in. Keep up the good work!
