I'm sure others didn't know either. Hence why I mentioned it.

It's ok to talk of the ROM and issues/requests here I think.
I have moved a decent number of posts to different threads because they veered off from the ROM discussion. Which isn't anyone doing anything wrong, just trying to keep this thread less cluttered. It's popular and will be quite the massive thread regardless, just want to make it as unintimidating to new folks as possible. :)
 
Has anybody flashed the new gapps (2/15) with this rom? Is there anything new in them? Does it work on this rom? Can I still flash the inverted gapps zip with it? Just wondering before I take the plunge.

And thanks devs once again for this rom :-)

I just flashed the February 15 gapps; they work but I don't see any differences from the ones linked in the first post of this thread. (then again, I've only been using ICS at all for about a week, and February 15 gapps for 15 minutes)

Anything related to this forum would be about probs and solutions to the build. And also tips and ideas would help everyone. I just despise hard headed users who don't follow the rules. But I am happy that the build is come together rather well.
 
Somtimes when using it a R comes up by the Bars and stays there i have to Air plane mode then un air plane and i get my bars back.

Mine does that as well. It means it is roaming, but I am unsure as to why because it does it in spots that I usually have good service. It did it a couple times a day after I first installed and now it hasn't done it in a day or so.
 
Gonna try flashing this again, for the simple fact I'm bored and need something to do. Will let you (agentc13) know if I still have the SMS issues like the 2 previous builds I flashed. Hoping not -_-

Don't you find it odd that you despise hard headed people for posting things unrelated to what this thread is for, yet you take your time to type a post in this thread unrelated to "probs and solutions to the build" and restate what the "Guides" and "Moderators" already made clear.

For you people having trouble with wifi still, are you using v0.6.5?

If yes, was it better or worse or no difference than 0.6.4 or earlier?
 
Are you referring to the wifi?

I should have been more specific with my question:

Is the wifi connectivity better in 0.6.5 than in 0.6.4 or earlier? Or worse? or the same?

wifi seems to be the same through all builds for me. It can be intermittent and will not auto connect most of the time. Juice defender won't work properly with it as well. I did post a reply in the dev thread asking what mode the wifi is being set to ie.. wifi_mode_scan_only or wifi_mode_full wondering if that may be the problem as there doesn't seem to be a setting for individual access points to auto connect.
 
No wi-fi issues here on 0.6.5. Just Heavy Battery drain (couldn't say whether it is more or less than 0.6.4) and i always autoconnect with no supplementary apps to help that

Pretty much the same here. Wifi has been about the same through all the builds for me. Auto-connect rarely works, but other than that I haven't had many issues.

actually my calendar now syncs where it wasn't syncing yesterday. It seems like the February 15 gapps solved my calendar sync issues (this would have been useful for me today as I was booked solid from 8:30 to 4:40 between classes, midterms, department meeting....)
 
Mantera: what is going to be included in the next update? Not asking for eta just curious what's going to be in the next build. Thank you!:)
