I'm running 0.6.6 now. Seems to be running fine. No noticeable improvements with video playback. Netflix and SD YouTube still do not work (HQ YouTube still does).

I've been using the YouTube app the last several hours and have no problem playing any videos on there.

Any particular video that you're having trouble playing?

I also installed flash and on the browser went to YouTube and was able to play all of the videos without a problem.
 
Chrome is SOOOOOOOOOOO nice compared to the stock browser (granted no flash) but the interface is great and the tab swapping is wicked looking.. must have been tied to the OpenGL.

Interesting.

If I use the youtube app and play any video, it plays at like 1fps unless I turn on HQ, then it plays fine.

I did upgrade from 0.6.5, so I'm going to try a full wipe and see if that makes a difference.

Mantera.. I got the same issue on non-HD youtube.
 
Probably a stupied question but since opengl is working now does that improve how fluid the rom is? I.e. the home transitions etc
 
It seems fairly smoother. Trebuchet launcher even seems better. One thing I noticed is the OC'ing appears to be working. Tried just for the heck of it. Did you do something different?


Edit: shoulda read changelog.
 
:eek: my life is complete. The devs deserve part of my tax refund, for doing amazing work that I can't do.


Noticed:
Some asian language keyboard from the start.
Sweet sweet smooth transitions and anti-alias.
 
I don't know if this bug has been reported or not but after flashing alpha 0.6.6.
The phone wont go to deep sleep, tested with cpuspy.
other then that this build runs smooth.
 
I have no idea why, but after flashing I came here on opera and the forum thought I was someone named Mobsterguns. I hit his name link and it immediately reloaded and acted normal.
