Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

Igave Minimal Triumph arun for a couple of days, now since i have flashed back to cm9 the Minimal Triumph splash image comes up then the cm9, question is how do i get rid of the Minimal splash.I'm a nobb so kinda be specific . Thanks for this rom, by the way best one ive used so far and i've used thm all. but really love this one and use it daily without any issues. yall have really out done yourselfs devs. Iam now bowing to you literaly!

You can either create your own splash image OR

You can use any of the ones posted by ziggy here OR:

It doesn't matter what the splash image is. That doesn't affect the ROM. CM9 doesn't change your splash image; that's why you're still seeing the Minimal Triumph splash image.

Alternatively, instead of just flashing the splash image, you could revert everything back to the stock deodex rom by b_randon14 from here:

AND then reflash cm9. That should also get you back to having everything that is not cm9 be the same as stock. I assume thats what you were expecting.
 
does anyone else have a bluetooth headset problem? bt seems to work fine for me. it pairs fast, music and calls go thru, etc. but when i stop using it for calls, music, or whatever, it quickly drops the signal. That wouldnt be too bad of a problem, except that it seems to freeze the bt on the phone so it cant be reset.

Same here. Had this problem since the first alpha rom release. I'm surprised no one else reported this earlier. On mines, it disconnects for a few seconds and re-connects in a few seconds. Many times, turning off bt just hangs. Instead of this, I now just reboot the phone. Just as fast and hassle free.

I have this issue with cm7 even, so I figured the triumph just had a crappy BT chip
 
Can anyone confirm that their headset with controls isn't working. I have a skull candy hesh headphones they work on my iPod nano 5th Gen and not my phone. I just need to figure out why I can't get mine to work.

I think I heard a post way back that controls were working then again I may be wrong.
 
Just flashed this ROM. Thought I'd go back after a little bit since it lacks a camera...but I have to admit CM9 is amazing. It doesn't feel like a new ROM, it feels like a new phone. Really beautiful. Got that bubbly Nexus style live wallpaper on...it's super speedy and smooth.

Might just keep this until I get a new phone. Although I Tweet pics a lot. That's going to be a bummer when I go to snap a pic and it doesn't work. Still...I've been playing with CM9 all night. It even has the built in Nyan ICS Easter Egg.

Really nice. :)

Yeah I got use to not taking pictures. I was always taking pics daily but I managed.

The last I heard was people saying that it still wasn't working. Somebody else will probably have to fix it though since I don't have a headset with controls to test with; it's a pain to try to fix something without being able to test.

What kind of headset does it need to be? I have a blue ant one that just has a button to disconnect and start calls and for volume. I never use it and would be willing to give it to you if it would help.

Samurai, do you have problems with a wakelock from playing music? I have one from the music app and 1013. It drains my battery down to nothing in half a day. If i turn off my data while I'm listening, i can go all day and still have 30%.
 
For some reason the ICS (on screen) back/home/menu buttons appeared after I rebooted after I installed this update. Any ideas why?

Never mind, I reinstalled and it hasn't come back...still very odd though.

One thing that keeps happening though, If I had music playing at some point if I have it paused or even closed and I use voice search the music starts playing. Any ideas how to fix that?

You were probably seeing posts about bluetooth headset controls working. Wired headset controls don't work.
