Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

Yeah, do as eas015 said. Try rebooting first.

I was going to a couple of weeks ago, but apparently you need a subscription to them in order to be able to use it in android. It's kind of annoying.

mantera, here's a link to a hulu app and works on your latest build. try it out, and let me know. thanks for all your hard work

Download link below...

Ok I downloaded the ROM and GAPPS. Quick question though: Anyone else missing the "Google Navigation" app? Any idea how to get it back?

I have been wanting to try this rom.. How is the battery life? How is it comparing to cm7 reloaded? Thanks guys

Also is flash working within websites?

Had anyone tried hulu on this ROM?

I was under the impression that Hulu didn't work at all, no matter which rom used, because it isn't supported on the Triumph. Am I wrong?

Also, unrelated but I love this rom! I could live without the camera, and Tap Tap Revenge 4 not working was something I learned to live without after a while as well but I just couldn't deal with the battery drain. Has this been less of an issue with the latest builds? I thought maybe over or underclocking might help this issue as well but I have NO clue how to do that (safely, or otherwise) and didn't want to possibly mess something up.

I know someone extremely lucky managed to get 4 days on their battery, but I could barely get half a day before I was getting a 5 percent battery left warning with only moderate texting, internet and Kobo use. Any ideas on how to fix this? I would LOVE to go back to this rom - CM7 themed ICS style just isn't the same!

Yes on Flash. About the same battery as cm7 for my uses.

For Hulu, you can use the hacked apk from the link that seanfodonnel posted a few posts up and it should work--assuming that you're comfortable using hacked apks.

As for your battery drain, it could be caused by a number of things. Usually, it's caused by having your wifi or bluetooth running all of the time or an app may be the culprit.

You can look through this thread by Whyzor for some battery tips:

The battery life on my phone running cm9 is about the same as cm7 which is better than miui which is better than stock froyo. But again, it all depends on how you use your phone and what you have running.

can anyone write me dirrections or direct me toa sourse that would show me how to apply the the Sense 4.0 multasking patch, it would have to be specific thanks in advance

Is it me or is there a problem with this ROM? I have noticed that after 5 updates, the original problems of:

what doesn't work:
-Camera
-Tethering (USB)
-Netflix streaming
-HDMI

still are not fixed. Is there anyone working on these problems? Who is assigned to get the hardware to work?

I have a tablet with the same problem. There have been several updates to the ICS ROMs but still no fixes to hardware which doesn't work. Finally, one programmer admitted that they have no one on the team qualified to fix hardware problems.

Needless to say, is the problem with ICS on the MT? Is there no one qualified to fix hardware problems?
