Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

I dont think it was anything wrong with that guy saying after 5 updates the same stuff is not working.

<cut>

Also can someone point me to a youtube video of them building a rom for the triumph? I think it would help people who have no ROM building experience to jump in and grasp it fairly quickly...im talkin about pulling from the github sources and all

....Im just sayin.....

As for the "5 updates the same stuff is not working", I personally haven't even bothered to look into that stuff and I don't know if anyone has either. I've been busy with other stuff as I've mentioned before. And again, as I've said before--if anyone is not happy with the rate of progress on this ROM or any other ROM for this device or any other device, they are more than welcome to jump in with fixes and new features. That was the great thing about this ROM in the beginning; we had a lot of people helping and that's why it developed so quickly. Now, it seems there's just a few of us left working on it.

Be part of the solution and not the problem...

As for your question about a video, I haven't heard of one. However, there are plenty of written guides on how to do all of that. Realistically, the written guides should be more than sufficient to get you going. Please don't take this the wrong way, but if you NEED a video to get motivated into starting, then I think you'll have a harder time getting into theming, romming, etc since if you run into any issues, you'll need to do a lot of reading to figure out what is going on.

is it just me or cm9 doesnt have as much battery life compared to cm7 n miui?

My battery life in cm9 is about the same or better than in cm7 and much better than miui. This is using the same settings and apps in all 3 roms.

For the devs, could you use this hack for Triumph ICS?

Also am I correct by asking if it is a kernel driver missing for camera? What camera is in the Triumph?

wat r your settings if i may ask :)

Nothing special. My clock settings are 122 - 1500. I don't undervolt anymore. I manually turn on/off wifi and bt when needed.

Edit: I'm using Interactive and SIO for governor and scheduler, respectively. They're the defaults in the rom and kernel.

#1 I said I was fine with the progression of this ALPHA rom if u actually read what i had to say, why would u quote that part of me paraphrasing the guy that made that statement?

#2 I don't NEED a video. I already programming in many different languages and have used many different flavors of different operating systems over time, including Java/Android, so im not new to reading any type of documentation, online tutorial, book or researching bugs within open source software and coming up with solutions. but don't worry i didn't take ur assumption the wrong way.

I don't think a video would hurt in ushering in people interested in developing for the MT and bring attention to the failure i see on behalf of Motorola and/or Sprint/Virgin Mobile.

but thank you for letting me know that you haven't spotted one yet. You'd think some knowledgeable person would have created one by now...it is 2012 after all.

So for clarity, you're not working on any of the things listed as not working and dont know of anyone that is u say?

Hey guys, temple run will work if you hit the play button with 2 fingers. The only problem is that you can't swipe, and all buttons need to be hit with 2 fingers.

I am loving this rom! Having used dozens and dozens on various phones over the years this has to be to me one of the best I have ever used!!!! Funny thing is I never use my camera. Ever. But now it is killing me that I can't HA!!!! Anyway great job to all who worked on it and thanks for making my chugger fast and useable.

Don't let it bother u mantera we all appreciate what u are doing and I thank u from the bottom of my heart for all u have done please don't let things like this stop u from releasing the amazing things u do you make our triumph worth owning and I most certainly can't fix any of this stuff please keep up the great work

I agree! Your work has been very admirable. I have been reading guides bc I'd love to help but I still don't understand much of it.
