I tried it and the phone still will not turn on and the battery light still doesn't turn on. I will try it again in 2 hours. I noticed I plugged it into my computer and I am getting a "HS-USB Diagnostics 9008" as a the phone now and I tried to load a terminal session to view anything but it didn't work. Oh and just plug the phone into the charger and leave it on there for a while even if the light is not on. The same thing was happening to my wife's phone for a while too. It wouldn't turn on, etc. Leaving it plugged in for a while sometimes got it working after a while.
Even if you get it going by doing this, you may want to consider getting a replacement if this keeps happening.
Put in $5 into the thanks fund originally, figured I'd add $15 more. Considering that devs like mantera are sticking around means that my phone won't become obsolete by next year, I figured he's still saving me a lot of cash. I am NOT going to pay Virgin Mobile more cash for an HTC Evo 3D after already coughing up for this phone. I'm considering this an investment in the device... (I don't demand anything, but hope donations encourage you to know that people care enough to compensate you for all of your hard work, and hopefully that drives you to continue devving for this phone, at least for this ROM). XD As for me, though, I have no more extra cash to spare, for the time being. Trust me, if I had infinite monies, it would go here!
Sounds similar to what happened to me, see my earlier post. Had to jumpstart as even after 2 days it never charged. when with a CM7 Rom and am not having any issues.

The only issue I've been noticing with the past few updates is a proximity issue with the phone when you move it away from your face during a call the screen stays off. Not a huge problem but just wondering if you can look into it Mantera. Thanks for the rom and making this phone worth having.
I'm having a similar issue. Makes it almost impossible to change the volume during a call, because I also have the power button setup to end call so I can't get the screen on at all.

When Im on CM9, I use my bluetooth and there are times when the bluetooth will say disconnected, (because its out of range), and then it wont connect, even by me hitting the button on the bluetooth headset, which is suppose to reconnect. I have to reboot my phone to get it to work again. When Im on CM7 and the bluetooth disconnects, it will automactically connect again, which leaves me to believe that its something in CM9. Is anyone else having this problem too?? Is there anything I can do on my end or is this something the devs are aware of and being worked on.
When I flash a new/updated cm9, my bt headset never reconnects when I turn on the BT even though it is supposedly already paired. To resolve that, I just unpair the BT headset and then re-pair it again with the phone and then it works fine after that when disconnecting and reconnecting.
So try that and see if that helps--unpair and re-pair the bt.

Does anybody else have a problem were youtube reboots your phone when your using it. How would I fix u because its the only thing that does that then I have to take it the battery and restart it or it keeps on rebooting when I try to use it.

Since switching back to CM9 from CM7, several times already when I leave my phone alone for awhile, and when I hit the power button to wake it up, nothing happens. I have to take the battery out and back in, then when I hold the power button, it turns back on. Is anyone else having this same problem and is there anything I can do about this?? Thanks for your feedback.
Allow me to address some of your comments & concerns
1. Updating the kernel and fixing camera is much more difficult than customizations.
2.The rom you are using (CM7) has been through many more hands than CM9 has so if you are worried about trusting mantera and security, you should really be worried about trusting all the people who have touched CM7.
3. There is nothing wrong with expressing appreciation and love for a rom. I'm sure the devs appreciate it and it gives them more motivation. You attitude, however does not.
4. Its still in alpha because camera does not work! Most people want a functioning camera, but for those that don't use it and hdmi, this is a great rom.
5. Why would Mantera/devs fix camera and not share it when they have shared everything else...

Everyone else, if you've nothing constructive to add, don't post please. Comments and opinions on what you think could be improved in the ROM are welcome, but keep them respectful. We attack issues, not each other.
It's a driver or kernel issue. Already tried using a different camera app, since when the camera was acting up on CM7-g60style it was simply a problem with the app. However, since this ROM is an even greater leap forward (from Froyo to ICS, not Froyo to GB), it will take even more hard work and knowledge to fix, as the problem is rooted in the kernel or driver, and the solution will not be so simple. Just have patience and faith, I'm sure it will be fixed one day...
