Root [ROM][AOSP]dGB v01_28_2012| 2.3.5| 375MB /data| 60MB /system |Mult-lang |Unlock |Reboot[28 Jan]

oh right - i dont like it charging while doing important stuff :/ not sure why - just dont trust it for some reason :D

when I had a black background, I found the footer a bit hard to locate sometimes when the drawer was pulled down so added that.

ok trying dload now - does rom file not have md5 to check? or does it not need it
thanks

flashed ok :)

good job Dan :-)

I assume this can be flashed over 1.4 without a wipe?
downloading now - nice job SU ;)

EDIT: OH and does this still fit in the 60mb hboot?

yes it can be flashed with no wipe (take a backup first just in case)
you will need to flash manu back over the top as it replaces the kernel again.

Cool, Here goes....
IIRC I can flash dgb and the kernel without a reboot between? am I right?

hmm i took off widget locker to look at this revamped lock screen.

did you design that yourself?

EDIT:
is this from cm7.1 commits
just realised you have a whole load of theming options. how did you fit that into the rom?

It's all cm7. It was a huge job tbh and really pushed the bounds of my knowledge. I started by locating the commits in cm source for the new ring lock, but decided it would be easier to import the whole thing.

The source gets bigger but in the end all the functionality is compiled. If you think about it its just some images and lines of code (text).

Most of the commits are in phone.apk, frameworks and settings.apk...

I think its maybe a little bit of a,tighter fit.

so are you saying this is no longer based on redux 1.2 source
its based on cm7 source now?

It's not cm based. But it hasnt been redux 1.2 based for some time either. I started with redux 1.2 and built up to 2.3.5. Theres still a lot of redux in there but It's its own base. It's a mish mash of various commits including my own. It really is just dGB.

I didn't port cm7 as a base. Just a few java files and added some images and other lines of code... although it was complicated for me to do, percentage of ported cm source would be well under 1%

Redux 1.2 had a bit of cm anyway.

hmmmm, very nice but, one reboot and and one complete freeze (couldn't get to lock screen) requireing battery pull so far, only been running it for a couple hours.
Guess a wipe would cure, but we'll see how it goes....

aaaggh again, its something to do with poweramp I think, twice now I've accessed poweramp and its rebooted.....

this aint workable for me at the mo.... I'm going back to 1.4 for now, may try it again next weekend when I've time to wipe/flash and restore stuff!

i didnt wipe i just flashed straight over the top
one thing to note though, you are not using manu 1.4, from what i remember you are using 2.0
make sure the governors for screen off are the same for wake (on demand)
i didnt find 2.0 as stable as 1.4 and more of a battery drain.

if i recall you had wierd reboot issues before this didnt you? and we thought it was the overclock? or am i thinking of someone else...

ive had this flashed since 2:30am this morning. its been on overnight, been hammered in the garage on poweramp and has my set cpu configs the same.
the only thing im not doing is messing with the voltages, mine are stock kernel voltages for manu

Yeah use 1.4...

It's worth noting the havs script is already in place so min voltage is set to 875

hi Dan.
liking the rom very much. small thing but I find the signal notification
icon colors more consistent. nice one :-)
