Root [ROM] ApeX V2.0.0 Beta (5/3/2011)

Has anyone else's WiFi and Data notification images gone from white back to green?

it should be green now...ApeX is based on the stock Gingerbread theme...Green and Black color scheme...the icons should have been blue when you were running Motorola's version of Gingerbread...

is there any way to just get gingerblur launcher?

you would have to install the Blur Home apk...

Is it? Looking at his pictures, the WiFi and Data icons in the notification bar are white...

Also, is there any customization to the Home bottom bar? It's no longer ADW so I can't change the dialer and browser that are there

Apex 1.4.1 - SBF'd to stock, then upgraded to first GB leak, then kernel patch and 2.0.

Everything seems to be working fine except for Gmail - i installed gmail from the market and it simply FCs on me every time i try to open it. Any suggestions?

few things...

1. If you notice on Moto's GingerBlur the icons are white when they first start up...and when they obtain a data connection, they turn blue...it is likely that this is the case here as well...

2. Fab no longer uses his DX as his phone...so a 3G connection won't be established because he has no service from VZW...

3. He has airplane mode on (looking at the pictures)

i assume there is no customization to the dock...as far as i know, Fab liked the AOSP launcher a lot so he went with a totally stock experience...you will have to install a third party launcher to do this (ADW, LP, Go)

You bring up a good point about it changing... that's probably a safe bet, and I think i will head back to ADW for it. Anyone remember how to uninstall the AOSP messaging? I wonder if the wiki is still up...

Also, is there any reason why the jrummy's overclock isn't working?

pretty sure the wiki is dead at this time.

I posted this earlier. Basically its what fab's toolbox did to get blur messaging working. Only thing missing was posted earlier, that you need the blur calendar apk installed too for blur corporate email to actually sync.

About the jrummy's overclock, you're probably holding the phone wrong :) It works for me.

Going back to stock .591 from Apex 2.0b, I had to sbf all the way back to .340, because my attempt to restore my .591 nandroid resulted in a bootloop no matter what I did. Does this seem to you guys?

[edit] OK - just took care of two things. First and foremost, donated... Fab, enjoy the beer. Second.. battery is charged so I'm going for the move to Beta. I'll let you know how it goes. [/edit] First of all, Fab, THANK YOU! This ROM is by far the fastest, sleekest and overall best performing ROM I've popped onto the X. I do notice that my connection to 3G, as well as even 1x is flip flopping all over the place. My phone can be on my counter and one minute I'm full 3G and the next I'm barely at 1 bar on 1x. Anyone else seen this? I SBF'd back to stock and I'm still on Apex 2 alpha 2. I haven't really felt the need to jump to Beta just yet. Just wondering if anyone else has notice this. If you think it will help, I can pop Beta tonight... thanks everyone!
