[ROM][BETA] CyanogenMod 10 for the LG Lucid

So to clarify. I'm on v8.

So use kdz tool to v5, root, install cwm, flash rom using cwm, flash baseband and apps using cdm, done?

What option do I hit for baseband and apps?

Did I leave any steps out?

Yes, use KDZ to flash V5.
Root
Install CWM
Flash ROM then GAPPS then Baseband (YES in that order).
Then do a factory reset in CWM, wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache and reboot.
First boot could take a while, but it will work.
If you need extra help I have a video tutorial up on YouTube.
Part one shows flashing and everything.
Part two shows how to flash everything in Recovery Mode.

Part two of my video show the steps if you need it.
The order goes:

First: Install ZIP from SDCARD
Second: Choose ZIP from SDCARD
Third: Find the ROM, GAPPS and Baseband and install them
Forth: Keep hitting go back after flashing all three things (It'll be all the way in the bottom) it's not there are you're back in the first screen.
Fifth: Choose wipe data/factory reset
Sixth: Choose wipe cache partition
Seventh: Choose Advanced
Eighth: Choose Wipe Dalvik Cache
Ninth: Choose go back (all the way on the bottom)
Tenth: Choose reboot system now
The phone will start to boot CM10, may take a while on first boot.

I don't know why it must be that order, someone said it earlier in the thread, it seems to work so keeping it like that just incase you know?

Yeah it removes a lot of crap. I like the ROM so much better than stock.

It seems faster.

Battery seemed to die faster on phone, but I want to give it one good cycle to see first.

As far as GPS, I haven't tried it, but is there a more guaranteed fix yet?

Change the overclock settings.
Min 486
Max 1188
Not sure about GPS I don't use it.
 
So here's my next attempt at fixing EGL. Only flash this if you are having reboots during games or other graphic intensive operations and are willing to pull logs (FAQ post) if it fails. Once again, make a backup in case it fails to boot. No guarantees that it works as I haven't had the time to flash it during final exams.

Well it booted up just fine. I'm at school so I'll test later today.

EDIT1: Still crashes :( Will recreate and pull a logcat tomorrow, got busy today...

I'm actually about to get the codec myself, seems cool.
