[ROM][BETA] CyanogenMod 10 for the LG Lucid

I'm running this on my Optimus Exceed. Everything seems to be going smooth except for MMS. I can not send them whatsoever. Could this be due to the fact that it is not a true Lucid or is it just a common issue others are having too?

This would be dangerous but... I had that problem on my lucid until i flashed the v8 base bands. I would not do it if i were you.
Potential outcomes:
Messaging working and maybe even 4g.
or
No radios at all unless someone else has an optimus that are willing to pull some files.

You should flash the VS840PP basebands. The V8 basebands will most likely not work. You can flash to VS840PP stock using the unbricker, root, and follow the instructions in this post to pull the base band files to the sd card. Restore them after putting CM back on the phone and SMS might work.

am i only person who can't make voip call since using this ROM...?

and do you have 4.2 version..?
Thank s for reply...

Coz i saw in another thread 4.2 (cm10.1) it fix voip call bug....

VOIP using what app?

And no to 4.2.

The apps:
-line
-KakaoTalk
-wechat

Those apps very famous in Asia... And almost all my friends use those... But I've tried Skype, voip call or video call work perfectly.....

quick question, does anyone else have a problem were the phone overclocks by iself. i notice a huge drop in battery and go look and its at 1512 ghz. ill set it back to 1188 and a bit later boom 1512 again. any fix to this?

I have a similar issue, if my phone freezes, it will shut off by itself, and when I turn back on, all the settings are different....I use System Tuner Pro, and I have my settings to start on boot..but it doesn't do it everytime, only when the phone reboots itself...I am also having issues with my downloads in the notification bar not clearing correctly, It will Clear for a few minutes and then they will appear again

At one time there was a discussion on the sd card not showing up and internal memory being backwards and someone was going to make a fix for that, any updates?

Try resetting and not restoring from a backup. Solved several problems for me!

High five on that, it resolved and few issues for me as well. ANYONE that don't use titanium backup should definitely look into it!

okay i need help. i tried porting a rom to the lg lucid. it starts to boot but at the boot animaion it bootloops. how do i boot into cwm to restore from my backup. bacause obviously due to the boot loop i cant reboot to recovery with rom toolbox

Hey guys! Rom is working great for me, other than one issue. It has been mentioned by someone else, but oft times my data goes out, even when I have service (goes from blue bars to grey bars). Is there a known problem or fix for this? Could it be related to the satellite issues others were having (doubtful). Is there a way to boost reception maybe?

Sidenote: Is there a good program that can assign additonal ip addresses or something? I live out in the boonies where we have no internet, and me and my friend use tethering on my phone to play games. Sometimes we get booted and log back in as each other, which is annoying. Thanks!

Follow the unbrick guide in the sticky.

Nope haha I did it I finally found the button combination to boot into Cwm without the phone detecting it and bricking Its no where on the Internet. I may be one of the first ones

I guess its still a secret?

Anyway... finally bit the bullet and loaded CM10 on my Lucid last night. Been playing around with it today and I must say that this works great!

Nope you hold down power and volume down till you see lg. Then let go of power but keep holding volume down till the factory reset thing pops up. Most people cancel here but confirm the factory reset and as long as you have CWM instead of factory resetting it brings up Cwm :D

So I'm new to this and want to go to cm10. I have 2 questions:

Cm10 supports usb host on the lg lucid correct? As in I want to use my PS3 controller on my phone and can't in its current state

My phone is a lg lucid rooted on ics. Do I need to downgrade to gb in order to flash cm10?
