uh dead trigger and emulators of course haha
CM10 can't do anything about it - the lucid USB PHY has no 5v supply so it cannot provide power to USB devices. It might work over Bluetooth. Since I haven't tried it I don't know about drivers.

So i installed cm10 using the instructions here [Guide][How To] Install CM10 on LG Lucid - Pastebin.com
when i was done i wiped data/factory reset and cleared cache and rebooted. now ive been stuck at the lg screen for about 10 minutes.
Is this normal? Should I be worried? What should I do?

*face palm* haha no. Your problem is you don't factory reset or wipe data after you flash a rom. You do all that before. Nothing after. Now you need to boot into recovery. Re wipe everything g and reflash the rom. Do you know how to boot into recovery?

yea pull battery vol down and power while plugged into usb.
so then i would factory reset wipe cache then reinstall cm10 gapp and baseband? then just reboot?

so i booted into recovery, factory reset and data wipe then reflashed. rebooted and still stuck in lg screen

If you didn't make a back up you'll have to go through the unbrick process. If you made a back up just restore boom backup in cwm

ok so im back to gb. what should i do differently in order to get me successfully onto cm10>

Redownload the rom, gapps and v8 baseband. Boot into cwm and wipe data and clear caches. Factory reset. Now flash the rom gapps and baseband in that order. That should work

when im in recovery it says wipe data/factory reset. when i click that does it do both? or is there some other way to do factory reset from recovery

So here's what you do...
COMPUTER:
Download b2 cm10
Download vz8 baseband
Download gapps
Transfer all files to external SD card on the root directory.
PHONE:
Download and install from market:
ROM manager
Open ROM manager
Install the latest cwm recovery
BOOT INTO RECOVERY by pressing and holding volume up and power and just continue through the factory reset by pushing power a few times. In cwm recovery. Backup. Wipe data/ factory reset. Wipe cache. Advanced- wipe dalvik cache. Flash cm10. Flash gapps. Flash baseband. Reboot.
