Root [ROM][Beta][FINAL] CM7 Android For Triumph [Tickerguy Edition, Kernel: mine] 11/19

Ticker i have a question when u get time, on one of ur builds i noticed the battery led when charging was a slight orange, i thought something was wrong but then i read somewhere that it was normal on that mod i belive, so i downloaded the latest afternoon one and now i notice that no led lights up when its on charge, not sure if im missing a setting i have to do but its no biggy was just curious bout it really, and again ty for all ur work ur doing on this triumph ^^
 
Its all good and not a biggy, just happy to get to play around with it here and there was just thinking i missed something or not since didnt see no one else posting bout it. Keep up the good work man.

I actually get a slow pulsing read LED when charging on USB. Don't know whether this is different for AC charging.
 
I have not even flashed my phone with cm7 yet. Been running on stock since I got it. Was just wondering if I do install this build on my phone would the Go Launcher EX work fine? I know its a dumb question but I was just curious.

Hm i didnt try that honestly yet, im back on my stock rooted rom at the moment, i just go back and forth randomly when i wanna play around on it and ill check that out next time i do so ty for the info.

On a side note, anyone here know why when i manually update my prl i lose call service and text service within 5 mins to an hr but 3g works fine? i see ppl updating all the time and never mention this problem except one other person so was just curious bout that. Made a topic on it but no one posted so figure i try here :/

Yes, you just use it instead of ADW.
 
Okay so what do i do again when my phone will only unlock with a battery pull with wifi off and stock lockscreen disabled. See before when i ticker edition of CM7 it was working fine then i installed Miui version of it and now everytime it i got to do a battery pull to unlock it. I'm going to install ticker's over it and maybe it fix the problem.

I installed over it and it took a way the MIUI APPs and uninstalled the theme. And wasn't the keylights fixed?

I am using Zeam, so I would think that any launcher should work

Thanks for your work on this ROM. I'm using the 9/10 Noon build and so far it's been running swimmingly.

How come haptic feedback does not work on the softkeys. It was removed form the bug list but was not put of the whats working list either?
 
Ok guys I kinda found a way to get by the device not waking up when connected to wifi... Heres what my setup is

FIRST
Go to Cyanogen Mod Settings.... Then down to Tablet Tweaks.... And select Disable Lockscreen

That should always make your phone wakeup...

NEXT (OPTIONAL)
Go to Market and download Agile Lock free (or paid) and open and enable it.

Unless you use Widget Locker and select Root Helper... You will have to wait 5 seconds before pressing home, locking, and unlocking to get lockscreen to show up

AGILE LOCK = SENSE 3.0 LOCKSCREEN
RIPPLE LOCK = HONEYCOMB LOCKSCREEN

WIDGET LOCKER = WIDGET LOCKER (if you havnt heard of it get out... jk )

Now you have a LockScreen
 
Hello all,

I feel slightly bad for not contributing much to the forums before asking this, but would it be possible to use the stock Gingerbread launcher on CM7 instead of ADWLauncher? If not, that's alright, since I can live with ADW, but I'm just curious.

Anyway, amazing work on the ROM tickerguy, I can't wait to load it via CWM and try it out for myself. :D

EDIT: I loaded CM7, but when I try to boot, the phone bootloops. Reverting to my nandroid backup.
DOUBLE-EDIT: The old backup works, thankfully.
 
Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who is doing the hard work. I'm just waiting on GPS to use this as my everyday build. CM7 makes the phone soooo much better IMO.

I noticed a few people mentioned that their data was disconnecting intermittently. I had the same issue a few times and turning an and off airplane mode solved it.
 
Xerp: If you're getting a boot loop you're probably not following the instructions. Specifically, you must clear the data and cache partitions and SHOULD format /system. If you don't there's very good chance you'll get a boot loop.
 
The 9/11 afternoon update is up. You will have to use the procedure in the top posts to select the APN, but it is in the build and does work - the autoselect does not.
 
@tickerguy.... I just tried the newest build and i love it!!!! :D great job man! cant wait till this thing is 100%.... LOL
 
I've been wondering. Will the stock gingerbread launcher with the 3D app drawer be present on the final build, or will it be ADW? Honestly, I think the stock gingerbread launcher looks and performs much better. Maybe a good home screen speed optimization along with the stock gingerbread launcher would be better than ADW? :)
