New build up - wifi lockup appears to be fixed. No other major changes. Note that I am not enabling ext4 right now because it requires both a new clockwork and a data wipe as the kernel has to be changed and Clockwork has a copy of the kernel in it distinct from the booted and running system. I will be doing it (and including the overclock kernel) but not at this moment in time for compatability and debugging reasons. Priority on the "fix list" remains the GPS. The kernel in the latest build IS ext4-capable.
Also, very bad news on Wifi Tethering (native) - none of the other "similar" devices I've been able to find ROMs for have a wifi driver that will load and run. There are, it appears, hardware differences that are sufficient to preclude those drivers from working. That's very bad news as it implies that this phone may be a cousin of the Huwei (and others) but it is NOT functionally (other than the CDMA radio) identical and the apparent intentional removal of the driver symbols will preclude the hotspot from working unless we can either get source to libra.ko or find a compatible copy of that loadable that has not been stripped.
