Root [ROM][Beta][FINAL] CM7 Android For Triumph [Tickerguy Edition, Kernel: mine] 11/19

HDMI was untested; not surprising it doesn't work. Added to the "not working" list; I do not have the correct interface cable and working on it will require both that and having my dev system and the monitor close enough to plug everything in at once. Not sure when or if that will happen.
 
Has anyone noticed that some apps aren't in the market with this ROM? I cannot install apps like Shazam or Paypal from the market because they aren't there. Restoring them from Titanium Backup results in an "application not installed" error.

I'm running the build from yesterday afternoon. Is the market change what is causing it? I had read the changelog but didn't think that the market change would be the issue.
 
That was fixed in the morning update. All apps I expect to see now show up in the market. Google changed the interface sometime after Froyo and my pull from the base load was causing problems with identification. The morning load replaced that with the CM7-compatible package for Google's base applications, including the market.
 
I am unsure why but yesterday I wasn't able to flash cm7 it just gets stuck on the M logo and I have to do a batter pull and restore my saved nandroid. Yes, I am rooted, I cleared the chache obviously I have cwm. I have no problem backing up and/or restoring however I can not flash this rom. I am uncertain of where I got the CWM because a buddy at facebook sent me the link and I do not remember the source. Am I doing something wrong? I'll admit I am far from a pro, and I know enough to get myself in trouble, but I have flashed roms before, I had a gingerbread on my optimus.
 
with the new updated one i flashed i got the welcome start up screen asking to login gmail acct and what not around 3 times =/

Viper - read the above and clear /system. You MAY need to clear storage - I did not, but you may. Depends on what you had loaded.
 
So TickerGuy, do you think maybe that the reason that gps is not working because the compass and Magnetometer are not working not allowing the gps to get a lock? maybe it needs them (in code at least) to start up?

No. There's some sort of RPC problem; I have 1HZ events coming back a minute or so after I start it which can't happen unless the chipset has a lock (it can't generate a PPS signal without the birds) so the damn thing is working, it's just not posting the data back up to me.

The NMEA option (which would be my usual workaround to this) isn't supported in this driver set; the device is there but has nothing attached to it, so it's not part of the implementation.

I returned MT due to poor cell reception. Would I get better reception with your CM7? I get 3-4 bars with OV but MT 0-1 bars.Thanks.
 
Would it be possible to make/fabricate a dock? I don't know what code android uses to detect a dock, however. Is it something ypu can add to CM7 code?
 
The dock should be recognized if you have one. I have no idea what is necessary to trigger the "Docked" mode, but the code is there in CM7.
