But that's what fuels my disdain for Apple it's "New" but the only thing that has gotten a true upgrade is the screen resolution.
 
i know for a fact im gonna sound stupid for this but how do i get the cwm recovery for the boost mobile lg marquee?
 
When is says that I must perform a "factory reset", does this mean from within Android itself or does it mean from within CWM?

You should check around the Forum for other threads dedicated to this:
(Would save time on answering questions that already have answers is all.)

CWM>Wipe Data/Factory Reset. Is what they mean. I also do it after the installation just to be sure to avoid Boot Loops.

To get it MMS to work: download aLogcat (free) from market. Open it and start the log. Hit the "home" button on the phone and go to dialer and enter ##3282# then hit "advanced" hit "view". Then hit the back button on your phone and go to "data profile" hit "edit" and enter 000000. It will say it is wrong, hold the home button and switch back to aLogcat and pause it. Hit "filter" and type msl

After you get that 6 digit code, go to ##3282# hit MMSC, edit, enter your msl, then change the address to http://mm.myboostmobile.com

Hit back and your done, you may need to reboot.

I recommend:
*Making sure you have CWM and Root.
*Update Manually with |Monster|'s Update. (Must be on a Stock ROM to update.)
*Then Install MB v1.2zvc (Beta) by |Monster|.
Then should be all good my friend.

Did I do the Update right or is this false?
 
ok so i followed all the steps and it went fine everything was working then all of a sudden i hear my phone vibrate like and hour or so after i flashed the rom i thought it was atextr but my screen wouldnt turn on so i removed the batteryand tried to turn it on but it wont work so can anyone explain to me what happened to my phone or how i can fix it?

You cannot turn your phone on?? After you pull the battery and wait a minute then out it back and try poering on, may have to hold power for 10-20 seconds in strange cases. Can you try plugging it into a pc and power on? I haven't seen this happen before personally, so I am not sure.. I have had it turn itself off and cannot turn it on without taking out the battery and then putting it back and turning it on. I also have been told at one point to pull the battery ad try holding power then replace the battery and trying power again..

well it turned back on without me doing any6thing to it a few hours later but now it takes almost double the time to charge that it did before
 
after installing the update and mb, i try and download an app and it says insufficient storage space although i have more than enough space. also in cwm it says E: cant mount command, log, last_log and e: cant open log and last log

Well here are 2 things to try:
You can go into Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Select All at the top.. Then Navigate to Download Manager and open it. Press force Stop and clear Data. go back and do the same for Google Services Framework and Google Play Store. Then reopen Google Play Store and it should act as if it is the first time you have used it. Try to download something to see if it works. If not you can also try rebooting into CWM, wiping the cache and then go to advanced and select fix permissions(This part may take a couple minutes, just be patient.) Then reboot. Now if that didn't work after fix permissions, you can try the first step again and see if that helps. If not I am not quite sure.
