Have you tried the Tiamat kernels yet? I am thinking of checking out SZ to see if I get better battery life, but it seems like most XDA peeps say that Tiamat runs smoother, so I'm kind of hesitant to mess with SZ.

I had issues with SZ but that was back in version 0.1.0. I am currently running Tiamat 3.3.1-SBC and get great battery life. Savage 1.6 is another good one that I have tried out. I actually used it for about 3 weeks before trying Tiamat

Notice any difference or do they seem pretty comparable? I've never tried a BFS kernel on my phone, and I might try and check it out.

Battery is pretty much the only difference I see from the stock CM7 Kernal. The SV Kernal I am using was just released 3/16. I will try to flash the Tiamat Kernal sometime soon and try it out.

Are you still at Mizzou? I work at the courthouse in downtown Columbia.

Does anyone have any idea why I can't download apps from the market on CM7 RC2? It give me a "download unsuccessful" error message even for the apps I have alerady purchased.

Never went there actually but I used to live around there and am a big fan. Live in the kc area with way too many ku fans.

I've had that happen a few times and redownloading always seems to do the trick. Also try unmounting and remounting the SD card.

Flashed the 1.0 savagedzen kernal this morning. I feel like the battery life now is slightly lower. Anyone else running this setup?

I just went to SZ 1.0.0 CFS nosbc and am loving it with teh savagez ZEn scaling in setcpu! better battery and performance than both the older SZ and the latest tiamat

Do it!!! I was running Tiamat for about 3-4 days after you mentioned it, but the new SZ with the SZ scaling is money :D

I went back to Savage 1.6 after Tiamat 3.3.1 as I seemed to be having lockscreen issues after flashing it. Already downloaded SZ 1.0.0 CFS-SBC. I will flash it in a bit

Edit: Flashing now. Will let you know it does

cool I'm digging it! I may try the SBC version too :)

I had to double check setcpu a few times, becuase I was at 998 but it felt like 1190, very nice

I know I saw this on here somewhere before, but I'm running cm7 nightly 31, and I'm not getting any audible alerts for email, and texts, I do have audible alerts for phone calls, media, and phone volume settings are on. Any assistance please?

Have you gone into the individual apps and made sure they are not set to silent for the notification sound?

Looks like RC3 is out on their download site! Time to flash another one! :D

Edit: Odd though, it is about 2.7 mb smaller than RC2

Running RC3 now. No issues so far. My GPS will get a lock and I get it down to 90 meters if I am by a window...much larger radius otherwise. Do I need to do the GPS/Sense fix every time I flash a nightly or RC with CM7? Or is it just a one time thing?

I also switched to SavagedZen 0.2.0 CFS noSBC kernel to see if that give me better battery life. I have been running Tiamat 3.3.1 and 3.3.2 for the past week or so. So far SZ seems just as quick. Using the SZ governor in the CM settings menu.
