Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/01/13)

Getting ready to flash the new kernel. I'll run it over the weekend and let you know what's up.

Also, never mind about the swap question I sent you. I've pretty much decided against setting up swap.

I think I'm happy with the new wallpaper now

nice.

btw, hows the test3 kernel seem to be doing for you so far? I know it hasn't been that long since you installed it but sometimes it doesn't take long for stuff to act up lol.

It's doing good so far. I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. I'll give it a good work over tonight and see if I can get it to act up.

Oh check out the updated shot I just posted. I just changed the app drawer icon to something that goes along with the circuit board theme a little better. :D

Beautiful! I've got this thing maxed out on 1400 and she's screaming. No lag, no lock ups. Not even when I was turning it up. I would say that my CPU is finally broken in. Lol

Gonna run it on max for a little while longer then drop it back down to my regular settings of both 1200 and 1300 and put it through its paces on both. Running Min @ 220 for all.

Hey Blood,

I'm running this as well on boost zv4 rooted. Runs good so far. Even got a 3577 in antutu at 1400.

This new kernel is running solid for me as well, Blood. I haven't maxed it out, but it will run up to 1380 no problem. My cpu used to cap at 1320 before locking up, so I am definitely seeing more stability out of this. No fc's or lag thus far. Nice and smooth man, thanks!

Just wanted to check in and say that the kernel is working perfectly, Bloodawn. I've ran it at 1400, 1300, & 1200 and it's stable at all 3. No FC's, no lag. Damn this is running like a champ.

CT 3.75 is finished now. gonna wait to see how this new kernel does a little longer before I release it.

Very cool. Is there a way to pick up the new ROM without losing the installed user apps and settings? I just finished configuring 3.68 to my liking and I'm not looking forward to starting all over again :-)

Speaking of which... what's a good way to take a full device backup, including all apps and their settings, etc. so that I can safely store somewhere and go back to in case I need to?

Just to echo what wetB said. The new kernel seems to be working fine; I'm running the stock zv4 with test3.zip at 120 min and 1200 max (smartass 2, deadline). I never could run the min that low without issues, but it seems to work fine with no lag now or excessive drain on the battery.

Hope this helps...

Hey Blood -- testing the new kernel at 1360/220. All good so far.

Definitely looking forward to 3.75. Can test if needed.
