Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

Thank you Bloodawn, Koumajutsu, hroark13, Romanbb, lidroid and the community for all the testing to get this phone to where it is now. I am running ct 3.5 stock. On a reboot when first loading, the time will be five hours ahead of the actual time. Is this normal or is this a glitch with my phone?

Am I the only one with this. It is not a big deal just wanted to know if I messed something up along the way to 3.5:confused:

I have been having the same problem. Originally, I thought it was the OC Kernal so I tried all different settings and combos with voltage control, setcpu, and cpu master, but the lag/freeze up/crash was still there.
then i left it at default speed(no overclock) and it was still happening. then i thought it was Dolphin HD because it ALWAYS happens when i am surfing the net.
tried a couple of different browsers and the problem is still there.
i'm out of ideas. i hope someone can figure this out soon.
I really love this rom (thanks Blood, and all involved) but the constant freezing and having to pull the battery is killing me, and my battery life.

what i did was a fresh install re-wiped everything and re downloaded all my apps (INSTEAD OF USING T-BACKUP) i think the backed up apps is what caused it and now im running smooth as butter

I think I actually have the exact same thing happening... It shows the time 5 or so hours ahead in CWM, so I guess that's like the BIOS time...? Something like that... It's really bizarre. Fixes itself in CTMod when connected to service of course, but it doesn't change in CWM.

i had the same problem and went to the cwm thread and there is a update. flashed that and it fixed for me. have to try it and see if will work for you, some things take and some don't. also i rename my backups to know what is what. just don't use any spaces when renaming, it won't restore if you do.

Mine is up to date already... so I guess it doesn't necessarily fix the time issue (but maybe it does for some people). I didn't know you could rename at all. Thanks for that little tip :p

SystemUI.apk. they are named different.

Did you get to read my post about the browser fix?
It actually made it worse for me.
Like going back to 3.4
Except less battery pulling.
And its still while surfing the net.
I'm trying to figure out what this is.
I. Theory at least. But I have no clue. :/

quit going to Hungarian animal porn sites bro

Just curious, was using the hammerpoint app to make an HVAC estimate. It was super slow despite having pretty decent 3g signal. Used fastboot and cleared out 160 MB RAM. So it definitely seems installing 100+ apps uses a lot of resources. Could recommend a good process manager or something. OR would it be better to pull some of the apps?

I just installed CTMod 3.5, and I have to say this thing is beastly. It now seems faster than my old stock galaxy S C. You sir deserve a beer, or I mean "coffee" will send ya coffee money once my paypal is setup. :D

Battery life is scarce now but then again I already OC'd it to 925. lol

So far so good! Everything is running smooth on mine and my g/f's phones. Thx

EDIT: So now my 3g is not working. It keeps going to 1x i recovered to my previous CWM backup and wiped cache and dalvick. My g/f works fine with the new ctfix any ideas?

going to 1x doesn't have to do with the rom. it usually happens when signal is bad or if you send a text.

Its so weird i did the exact same things to both phones and everything about her internet speeds, whether it be wifi or 3g connection is better by a large margin. Most of my problems began when i went from EJ06 to FA19. I can just odin the phone.tar to go back to EJ06 correct? and also do i need to delete either of the cache after i do so?

I installed CTMod3.5 in this order:

1-installed EJ06 Gingerbread Rooted Image with CWM5 made by Chin Checka
2-wiped/formatted sdcard, installed CWM update, created sd ext. via CWM (2048/0swap) , updated PRL
3-installed CTMod3.5

Everything looks good, but I noticed when some people tried to call me my phone would ring once, show the caller, then hang up on them before I could even try to answer. Also when I would try to call anyone, after clicking on their name to make the call it would immediately hang up and not make the call. -this was random.

Questions
For now as far as my setup goes, if I try to setup the SSM, do I need to first make the change in the ctmod settings window from in ctmod from my home screen and then go into adb and do the setup to the sdcard, or, go into adb first, make the changes, then make the changes from within the ctmod settings window?,or whats the order of things from here?

I already went back and read, dont direct me back there for my answer please. I understand certain things are not going to be discussed, or if im asking then its above my comprehension and perhaps i shouldn't be messing around at all to begin with.

But,...im asking anyway.

Thanks guys.

I think you need both extensions before u change the setup.

Idk if the new fix works
...yet.

I'm really liking this Xperia Launcher. BTW my sisters phone is using SSM mode with no problems. She's satisfied though she's a bit sad that they removed the bouncy jumping animation from the Xperia's Laucher uninstall mode. Oh well :)

@Bloodawn: Great job on yet another awesome update!

both extensions? dont understand.

I'm having worse problems now than before as far as having people contact me. Everybody who tries to call me says it goes right to voice mail, or nothing at all happens.

but text messages work fine. Did not have this issue with the old setup of ct2.5.
It's not the phone. If I revert back to stock or 2.5, problem gone.

any fix or suggestions would be appreciated. Although the Battery drain problem seems to be much better, in fact not a problem at all now with 3.5. But not being able to accept calls and occasionaly dial out is a problem.
