Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

Well, since you're out of the house, I'll go ahead and do this for now:
CTMod3.6-Prevail_tempfix.zip

I downloaded the very same file I had PM'd you for CTMod, changed the filename to KoumaMod.apk like you have, and opened it with WinRAR, deleted the bin folder, and then put it in the ctmod installer zip.

I don't know if you removed any other bloat you found in the apk, but I wasn't about to decompile/recompile and end up causing the same problem myself

Working for me, i'll go ahead an repopulate my app drawer and tinker for a while.

Ill be updating later today.

Question, anyone know what file I should back up to not lose text messages on reinstall?

Calender and contacts I update/reinstall via Gmail but I seem to lose texting history.

I use 'stock' CTMod 3.5 texting utility.

There are a lot of apps that can do this. Just do a search for sms backup or something similar. Or if you're using Go SMS that can backup. Not sure about Handcent. Just make sure if you're going to format your sdcard to back up the backup to the pc first :D

3.6 running fast as s... set to ssm and running very smooth. Card is class 4. Wifi seems faster to me somehow. My apps download in a flash. I dig the chrome running fast as well. Needs more testing but for now thank you Bloodawn.:D:)

something that I like and always make me laugh about this rom is when u are flashing and its done it says "welcome to chicken tits" lol great job with this rom Blood this is the best rom for the prevail :D now im waiting for ctmod 3.7 lol (now running ctmod 3.6 btw) ;) thanks

For anyone that cares, I ran an AnTuTu benchmark on my phone before installing all my apps. I scored an 1865 running a SanDisk 8gig class 2 card with 1.8gigs as the /data partition. I'm running KoumaMod in /data mode with internal disabled, I'm mounting the internal /data as /system/swap and using that space as swap as well as another 1.8gigs of my sdcard for additional swap. No other tweaks or crap installed.
After installing my apps and syncing with facebook and gmail and my contacts, and gettign rid of the default apps I don't care for, I'm at 2016.

good job Bloodawn, I've never scored this high on a benchmark before :D

I hope this time when i reboot the phone the language settings stay intact. Also when I partition the sd card then reboot, I select "data" in the Kouma Mod and reboot. Then I have
in internal memory the partition. But when I reboot again it reverts to not recognizing the sd card and I need to reboot again for things to be normal again...

BTW lightning launcher is business if you know how to work it

Ive had the rom running since 1am central and I have yet to experience any lag of any type. I think you got the bugs out Bloodawn. Chooooooo Chooooooo!

I backup/restore SMS/MMS thru Titanium backup and upon reboot I have my text history restored.

Hope this helps someone.
