Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

what are you trying to do? enable data mode?

type mount in terminal and tell me what it says, or use adb on your computer and type: adb shell mount

I hope this screenshot will do, too small to read on phone to type it all out

you have no sd-ext partition, thats probably why you got those low memory messages before too.

if your card was partitioned it would show up as:

/dev/block/mmcblk0p2 on /data/app type ext4 (rw,nosuid,nodev,noatime,nodiratime,barrier=1,data=ordered,noauto_da_alloc)

if you had 2 partitions there would be a mmcblk0p3 showing up too.

I never erased but was getting some random reboots from another rom prior. Just checked sd with partition master and sure enough ext partition was corrupted.

Ok so, my gps is acting weird. It wont go on using Google
Maps, it says network failure or something. Says it needs a network connection.
3g is on., using rainy days app, it will use my 3g to locate me

I don't see the gps icon up top, sometimes, out of the blue it goes on and disappears

So, i was wondering, what files, folders are needed to properly
Flash the gps..I'd rather not reinstall 3.6, only 3.7
I would obviously grab the necessary files, folders from friend
Phone.

Come on of all people you should know the magnetic field is falling the poles are switching the end is near 2012

OK this is getting to me now....

brand new 3.6 download
total reformat of 8GB sd card with 1GB ext4
flashed with cwm/reboot
ctmod boots, first thing comes up is koumakernel requesting su permissions, granted
go into settings/storage, says only 118MB
go into ctmod settings/kouma and it's default is ssm
changed to data and checked box to disable internal /data
reboot and stuck again at kouma kernel 2.5 screen

what the effin hell

Finally getting somewhere...

reflashed rom, selected data in kouma settings, left internal /data enabled
rebooted and finally have my 1GB internal memory :D

However, when I go into kouma settings it's still set at ssm

didn't know you were checking the internal data box???? you have the 1 gig memory and if ssm is checked, don't worry about it as long as it is working.:D

I installed 3.6 and tried to use SSM to partition my SD card. Everything went well until I changed the Kouma settings to Data. After the reboot, everything slowed to a crawl and I got multiple force closes. Any input? This is the second time I've had this happen when trying to choose data.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to a guide on how to theme this or other rom's? I am wanting to make a theme for this rom

sorry for late reply..

But, yes i gave them permission, and in settings, it shows me signed in. if i use wifi or 3g it will find my location, but when i turn on GPS, the icon doesnt animate, in the task bar.

So i wanted to try and extract any/all the files/folders associated with the GPS, obviously from my friends phone that has 3.6.

then Flash it back to the phone.

Is it possible...any side affects.

i could re-flash 3.6, then re-partition it again, and advance restore Data/sd-ext....but i dont want to ruin a good thing..even though the gps is not working right.

I know its the GPS, ive reinstalled google maps, several times, tried that GPS test app thing...wouldnt budge.

but sometimes...at random, for the app, Rainy Days when i click show my location, i will actually see the gps icon animate in taskbar...then lock on.

i had the same issue, its the koumamod.apk, its the one that was installed with 3.6, You want to download/install the koumamod.apk 1.5 version or click the link here to visit the thread, once installed, it will save the settings and wont change back, i had the same issue for weeks, kept restoring...FC like a blind monkey trying to spank himself. But after i installed it, now its smooth, the mod that is. that and i also updated the XPERIA HOME Launcher.

Seems like every 4-5 weeks we get another awesome ctmod I was wondering what's on the horizon is 3.7 being brewed up

Oh, you know, the usual.
4G capability
PS3 emulator
XM radio transmitter
Turn by Turn Teleportation
16 Terapixel camera upgrade
and the ability to Force-Choke someone through the internet.

I mentioned the other day that I have not been able to use USB to transfer files to/from my sdcard since formatting it for SSM. I have tried everything. I tried it on the same computer that i used to flash with odin...and then installed the usb drivers on my laptop and tried it there with the same result. It shows up as (D:) Removable Disk. However when i try to explore the disk it tells me "Please insert a disk into drive D:." Again...this worked before the format to SSM. This is not really an issue for me because i use Android WIFI manager sync....and odin still recognizes the phone...the only reason i mentioned it was because someone(don't remember who) said that SSM had nothing to do with my computer not recognizing it. So, it's either the SSM or CTmod itself...but i'm betting on SSM....and possibly some issue with the type of formatting on the card not being readable by my PC(running windows xp sp3).

....i just flashed this one....it seems to Force CLose on force choke...any ideas? details said android.forcechoke.empire.com has force closed. then i see a faint ghostly like image of obi-wan on the screen...but i try to press power and screenshot it...but im too late.

anyway, the teleporation works good..though i keep getting "recalibrating" then id see the water and then be back were i started...maybe its me.

i had the same issue...
i had installed, the samsung drivers package, and then the KIES program...
somewhere it had a corruption in them...dont know how.

so i started fresh....
i uninstalled KIES and Samsung Drivers Package.
after i uninstalled it, i searched for anything KIES/SAMSUNG DRIVERS
both in root and registry, i deleted what i foundd **CAUTION CHECK BEFORE YOU DELETE ANYTHING TO MAKE SURE THE STUFF YOUR DELETING ISNT SHARED OR A SYSTEM FILE***
unpplugged the usb cable and phone.from the computer

then i rebooted...
waited for windows to finish loading everything....
then i plugged in the usb cable..waited 30seconds
then i plugged in the other end to the phone

windows saw it, installed the drivers, even downloaded them.

it was done and i was back to transferring and using it again.
