You don't neet to take it outy !!!! Just connect your USB cable and go to "Mounts and Storage" and select USB...... Then you can copy it to the card !

I have read, and re-read the how to.. I've followed the directions with no success.
Maybe I'm just missing something obvious but it's not working out. I'll start again from the top see you in a half hour..

once you partition the card, install the rom, once you change to data mode, format the sdext again.

Yes i know & currently i have it set to SIO INTERACTIVE , but was wondering what everyone else was using & if anyone had a better setup.
so for undisclosed reasons i do not have access to usb cord, is it safe for me to just download and flash straight on phone? when i download try to flash it says that it must be OpenRecoveryScript compatible, and when i try to install that, it pops up saying no recovery found on phone? can i just bypass and say I already have one?

The rom? It shouldn't say anything like that... you should jus download it and flash it via cwm.
scratch that. just needed to grant it SuperUser right. Now, however, that I chose to flash (I also checked "create backup" and "wipe cache") I am at the recovery screen. Do I choose apply update from sdcard or install zip from sdcard? in which directory was the rom update that i downloaded saved in?

Download it in goo then just boot to recovery and flash it like normal.
Damnitall, I still can't get it. I go step by step and nothing.. I remember having the same issue when I tried to update last time. I was running FE19 CT3.68 no problem Formatted 512EXT it was great. Could it be the odin files? I'm using the ones from the thread. I don't know I went though the guide and all your suggestions..

New camera app has a few less features then the old one. New music app appears to be stock? But both work great. Speed increase in general is eh but all around it appears more stable, and that's what's most important. I like that you changed from chrome to Boat, added google search back, voice recorder too.. Had a separate app downloaded for that but it's no longer needed. Definitely dig the new wallpaper. Menus are refined, new loading bar is cool. I like how in the desktop options we can have 'bubbles' now, I have 2 bubbles for my phone and texts and use the dock for my 4 most used apps, FB Twitter Camera and Boat. Leave the home screen clean because I am OCD like that lol. Never tried to overclock before (actually just rooted my phone about 2 weeks ago) but I set it to min 200 max 900 and gonna see if I dont get a lil less lag out of it. In general, your rom is LEAPS and BOUNDS faster then stock .. I originally only rooted to open up more room for apps, but turns out the phone had more potential then I gave it. Thanks for this !!!!

If its a uot theme, just upload the new framework and systemui and the settings that uot puts out (in the theme zip) to the kitchen and wait...

im thinking maybe one more adjustment if you can find the cause this issue.
much respect on all the hard work socketing diamonds into the turd that is the prevail.....finally made it worth buying!
im just wondering if you or anyone else has or is currently having haptic issues. im not completely sure how to explain this because i know this phone is so low-tech that it doesnt have built-in motion sensors but whether or not the screens off....moving the phone will at least 40% of the time make the phone do a series of random vibrations. this wouldnt be a big deal....in fact its pretty cool except for the fact that when the phones screen is off and it vibrates...the screen turns on, which ends up draining the battery pretty quickly. im noticing that certain programs are crashing very excessively as well (market mainly). other than those two issues, id have to say ya guys hit the nail on the head when it comes to makin a drop dead sleek UI with awesome speeds and killer functionality.

Those random vibrates are most likely related to the force closes... did you restore anything with titanium? If so, that's your problem, if not you might have a bad flash.
I would suggest reflashing the rom again to see if the problem clears up.

Is anyone else having a problem with the voice search or for talking instead of typing? that is the only thing not working for me! Tried uninstalling/reinstalling, wiping everything you can think of? works when I first open and for the test then nothing in messaging or anything for voice instead of typing, GOTTA HAVE THAT!

I had CT3.68 before and that was my first rooting experience with anything!! I was thinking I was about to turn my phone into a brick but I just couldnt stand how terrible my prevail was and found the CTmod for dummies guide by Caeadas (think i got that name right) anyway i got er done and just got your update tonight love it!! Im still learning and trying to figure out how else I can improve my Prevail any Ideas?? I have done the partitioning to internal memory but havent messed with the swapping yet. no idea what im doing there?!?!

I flashed CTMod 3.75 successfully and everything was working beautifully but after I flashed the Carbon-Lite 2.0 theme and rebooted, the phone stops at a black screen that says "SAMSUNG Galaxy Prevail" and then does nothing else. I can access CWM but don't know what I should do to fix this. Have I done something wrong and bricked my phone or is there a way to fix this issue?

Boot into CWM and restore your CT3.75 backup if you have one, if not then just wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik-cache under advanced then reflash CT3.75 and you'll be all set...
EDIT: Now that I think about it just a wipe data/factory reset should do the trick, someone correct me if I'm mistaken??
Nope. The only way to fix it for sure would be to restore s CTMod3.75 backup or reflash the rom. Doing a factory wipe doesnt effect the /system partition, which is where the themed systemUI.apk and the themed framework-res.apk would be.
