Battery Drains - nevermind the usual suspects but since changing to 4 partitions I noticed a huge difference in my battery life. Using SSM with the 4th partition option [fat | ext4 | ext4 | swap] ,
is it normal for the battery to drain faster?

Version 3.75 Final release
New RemovedApps.zip uploaded for CT 3.75 only
So the RemovedApps.zip on the first post in it's usual spot is the updated one for 3.75 then right?
I have a quick question and I'm a newbie so please forgive my ignorance.
Previously I had followed the 3.68 prevail guide and set my phone in "data mode" with the "disable internal data" box checked.
After installing CTMod 3.75 I wanted to configure it in the same manner, but I no longer see the option for "disable internal data"
Has this option been removed or made automatic when data mode is chosen?
Thanks again!
Hi, I just wanted to chime in to say that while I am sure the 3.75 update is great in most ways, the 3G icon is now screwed up. With 3.75, my phone's icon always indicates 3G, even when the phone is in 1X. What's worse is the phone will not get a true 3G signal in my house (data speed is 97kbps avg). I went back to 3.68 and the problem immediately stopped. The 1X icon displays when the phone is getting a 1X signal, and 3G when the signal is true 3G. More importantly, the phone grabs a nice 3g signal at -100db. Data speed is 800kbps.
I am not sure what caused this, and I would love to have the 3.75 update, but until or unless the issues above are fixed, I will be sticking with 3.68. I do like some of the other changes in 3.75, but they are not worth the poor data speeds.
Hey Blood, thanks for the final update really appreciate it! Everything seems fantastically great about this update so far. Although I think I found one little issue. The WiFi icon in the Quickpanel seems to be backwards. When I select it to turn it on the line underneath turns white while the actual WiFi icon turns grey. No big deal, just a heads up.
Thanks again! =)
Hi Bloodawn,
well so far so good.... almost everything is working as it should. THANKS again , BIG TIME for making and supporting this fine ROM !!!
I do have also a little issue with the following icons : "WiFi, 3G/1g, Signal Strenght"....... Alllllll of them are there, but they aren't white, they are all greyed-out ! Everything works, just not displaying in white..... Battery and Charging, set alarms, time are in white and correct..... Is there anything I am missing ????
Thx
What baseband are you useing now? and the update is useing ff19, might be your problem. You can change the baseband if it is different!
FE16 is my current BB. I don't think CTMod 3.75 changed that (but I didn't check when I had 3.75 installed). On 3.68, I experimented with different basebands and found that FE16 was best/most consistent.
Is FF19 a new baseband?
Well, again.......... THANKS, Bloodawn..... ALLLLLLLLL and EVERYTHING works great now after applying the WiFi patch..... So far noooooo problems at all....Just not sure if I'll stay with FF19 or if I go back to FE16..... time will tell...
PS: Just one more little thing Bloodawn.... I've sent you a couple of weeks ago a PM with a question.... ( you probably were busy with CTMod ) would be great if you could let me know ! Thanks.
PS: Where do I find your new wallpaper ( or background ) that comes with CTMod3.75 ?? ( which folder or what name ! )
What do you guys do when you start running out of space to install/use apps? I tend to run out quickly and can't seem to clear up any more space.
I got a 16 GB San Disk Class 10 Micro SD card capable of 30 MB/s transfer speeds for 20 bucks at Best Buy, so I didn't feel so bad haha. Anyway, reflashed CTMod, then I partitioned the new SD to 1024kb instead of 2048, and then adjusted my voltage control to deadline and iso with a min of 480 and a max of 900, and the phone is just flying. Menus are fast acting, no lagging between screens, working great. Thanks so much for helping me figure this out.
Ok, still a newbie. I've been having problems with a slow running phone, apps loading etc. So if I go buy a 10micro SD card, do I then have to download all my apps again when changing to a new SD card? Also, before i do that, I just installed the CT3.75 for my prevail (previously on 3.68). I backed up my phone before installing and I also have Titanium backup. How do I reinstall my apps etc from the backup or titanium backup after installing the CT3.75. thanks, still a newbie here.
How do i restore my apps and stuff while still having ctmod 3.75? Nice work btw
You redownload them from the market
This is a complete overhaul of the rom. Its no longer based on a rom for the admire. Its now made from the newest stock rom from boost.
If you use titanium backup or try to restore data from your backup, you're gonna have a bad time (force closes, system instability, perhaps random reboots... freezes... etc...)
So why even use titanium backup, I'm confused. Maybe that's why I had such a bad time, I think I used TB before. My phone forced closed all the time. Still wondering then, why use TB if you have to reinstall all your apps from the market. Thanks again for your help
