But that's his point. He uses it in airplane mode, to save battery... And when he reboots, in airplane mode, his app turns on wifi for you... If you have no service, it's actually a good idea. No 3g radio = awesome battery life

There is always the stock swype keyboard from the rooting for dummies removed apk download....I've ben using swype beta but has been junk since update the stock swype is pretty fast if u like it

My app will force WiFi on for you on boot IN AIRPLANE MODE without you needing to dink about with any menus, or editing any prop files etc, adnausium... That's the whole point of it.

Maybe I'll try the Swype 1 of these days, I have never even tried or used swype before. I use the voice recognition to type. If you have titanium you can restore an old backed up version of your keyboard and then never update it, just use Titanium to disable it from the market.
 
so... i tried everything about replacing supersu with superuser... & it seems i lost root access... even tho i see the phone as still rooted... iam confused... & still laggy mc laggerson... so i got the superuser updater fixer from the play store... when runnin thru it's process... when it gets to root access it fails... none of the apps that require root access can do so... they all freeze...

Whenever replacing something alway add the new one then deleat the old one. Is that how you did it or did you delete su and then try to replace it? Also do you have a recent backup, (Which should always be done before doing any kinda changes to your phone) ,try restoring a backup and see if that gets you back to working and try again a different way!

What Steps did u go about doing it...What i did is..

1st...Go into the market and download superuser app (The update fixer is just for problems with the actual market update so u dont need it)

2nd... go into supersu and then there is an option that says u want to switch to something else click that

3rd....go into superuser app that u just got from market and go to the info tab and click on the update binaries button

4th...Then you have to go to all the apps that need root access and a pop up will appear from superuser and u click allow

Should work fine my phone is lots more stable now....and responsive....

PS...SD Booster from the market makes my phone even faster
 
Ok anybody got an answer to camera?? I always have problems trying to get it to connect with camera when using the hardware camera button...It seems like 3.75 changed something with the actual button because i used to be able to switch the camera app i got from market to be my default and use the hardware button and now i cant!
 
dymond did you restart your phone between deleting supersu an installing super user. If so, don't restart next time after you restore your backup. This will keep root setting while you are installing the new app.

Mine works the same way when switch to another cam the hard button doesn't work. Never thought about it but maybe have to convert default cam to user or delete and make the new one you want a system app and that might make it the default one? Not sure just guessing! You can try this using titanium and freeze stock one and then experiment, again just guessing!

I personally switched to Superuser instead of SU but made my phone waaaay more laggy so when i tried to go back the SU app randomly started asking me permission for itself and once it popped up it freeze my phone completely so I had to restore a backup to get it back the way it was and still fast :)

PS... Also SD Booster didnt really help, it said it was at its max ram (around 2048) and even if I added 1 more it would turn purple and supposedly that means it was too much :/ oh well

:eek: Yea, so sorry I did not mention that point. Yes, this phone is deactivated, so why the heck would I want to run the battery down with something I'm not using?!

I still need to see if I can do the same for Bluetooth.

As far as I can tell so far, I can't do this from any menu... I'm unsure if it is a hardware limitation or not.

I don't have time to even test right now, but I will in a few days.;)

That didn't work for me every time I move the default cameras app my system doesn't run right tried to make camera zoom fx a system app but didn't work for me...

I'm not sure then, that is the same one I use and like too! I just use the screen to get them and take pics but never really thought about that way? Will see what I can come up with or if someone else knows, will post if I find something out! Think it might take some build prop to get it to change?

Please excuse my noob question. What is the benefit of doing this? I have a 8GB Card, in my case would you recommend I do [4GB/1GB/1GB/2GB]?

Is there a tutorial on how to do the 4 partitions? I see some posts saying to use Partition Wizard and some say to do it in the recovery, but I don't know how to do it either way.

If you run 3.75, the app is included, if you run 3.68, you need to download Kouma's "SDParter" !!! With that app, you can create allllllllll the partitions you like ! ;)

Woulod post a Dropbox link, but just reinstalled Windows..... You can find the app here in the forum..... :)

I have the same issue that SDPArter is force closing...... I guess, the only option would be reflashing 3.75, but I have not done it yet............. Maybe it's not just me and Bloodawn may know a solution other than reflashing.....
 
Maybe Bloodawn needs to take a look at this and figure out why SDParter is force closing.

After flashing CTMod3.75, I was able to start SDParter, do all my partitioning and set up the phone in DATA mode and use Kouma's swap setting. All runs perfect and great, except SDParter does not let me see the partition info, since it force close !!

"Bloodawn-HELP" needed ! ;)
