Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

I know what you meant bro. I was j/k. I thought as far as swap goes that /dev/block/mmcblk0p4 was only for ssm with swap or am I incorrect?

I hear you too! LOL You are correct but lv first typed 0p4 LOL! now he changed it and now that you say that his corrected post looks like I just repeated what he said:( maybe he should have not edit his post! Ah who cares like my name says WHATEVER LOL!!!

Mine works the same way when switch to another cam the hard button doesn't work. Never thought about it but maybe have to convert default cam to user or delete and make the new one you want a system app and that might make it the default one? Not sure just guessing! You can try this using titanium and freeze stock one and then experiment, again just guessing!

The camera app mapping to the hardware button is a Samsung bug. For some reason, the button is hardcoded to launch the stock camera app specifically.

Hi, I'm sort of confused. I've updated from 3.68 to 3.75. Do I now need to create a partition or do anything else before adding back apps? Just wanted to double check. Thanks!

No don't need to do anything unless you want to upgrade anything, now is the time to do that because starting fresh.:)

Did you make sure they were [fat|ext4|ext4|swap]?
If so, then switch to ssm and then go into your koumamod settings, select the swap part and direct it to /dev/block/mmcblk0p4

I did all my partitioning and now when I try to restore my apps using Titanium I am getting Insufficient Storage and Low Space errors.

Did I do something wrong?

Did you go into cwm and format and then reboot? That should solve the low storage problem. Now I would not restore apps from titanium, but sign in to google and then just reinstall from market from my apps! Titanium is good for an app or 2 but not full restore!

Thanks so much. I don't have anything else to upgrade, so I went ahead and made a backup at this point before adding apps. But thinking about this, should I have reflashed Odin? I didn't, just flashed the update.

Just flashing the zip 3.75 is all you need to do and That is the best thing to do just make a backup everytime you do something new so if you have a problem you can always restore back to where was good and not have to start all over again!:D

No I did not go in CWM and format. What was I suppose to format?

Ouch! Thinks its like 70 apps

Not the whole card  Lol just the sdext

Ohh ok ... I was nervous about loosing everything on the card.

I just reflashed CTMod 3.75. That process automatically formats the sdext as well right?

When I go to settings and then storage it shows 113MB Internal Storage available. Is it suppose to show one of my partition size there?

Not with SSM. It shows in data mode because the whole data partition has been moved. In SSM its just portions of the /data partition.

So is there anyway to confirm or verify that I have SSM setup correctly?

Or do I just have to try and install my apps again and hope I don't get the low storage error?

Also when I install apps from the playstore which partition will they be installed? Will they be installed on the 1025MB partition?

My partitions are;
[fat | ext4 | ext4 | swap]
[storage|/data/app|/data/dalvik|swap]
[5896MB/1025MB/512MB/515MB]

Not sure, but doesn't the first command needs to be : su

To give the terminal emu superuser access ????? I always put su first before I do something in the emulator..... But, I could be wrong.... ;)

Can ANYbody toss me a bone here please? All I want is the extended internal memory from my 1024MB ext4 partition, don't give a rat's ass about swappiness and all that. This was always totally painless with other roms, never had to bother with apps2sd and all that crap, just flashed the rom and bam, 1GB+ of internal ram.

I'm on CTMod 3.75, ff19 baseband, 8GB class 10 sd card with 7GB fat and 1GB ext4. I go into kouma setting and select data, it prompts to reboot, I reboot and it just hangs at the kouma kernal 2.5 splash screen. Same deal after reflashing the rom and formatting sd-ext4. Any suggestions much appreciated.

After you change to DATA and when it prompts to reboot, you need to either reboot into Clockworkmod RECOVERY, or shut down and turn your phone back on, going into recovery and re-format your sdext !!! Every change in koumasettings from DATA to SSM and visa verse requires a immediate re-format of your sdext.....
