oh so its either ohio has really shitty weather everyday (even when sunny) or something wrong with my phone cause it also happens to my wifi when im connected, even without wifi and high signal my bars and 3G signal would still be grey, when it turns white is when it drops drastically to no bars or one grey bar.

Maybe i should move out of ohio :/ and I also just got the youtube "cannot play this video unless you have google services (or something like that)" but i ignored it and it still load the video so its all cool

EDIT: I just flashed the MultiFix.zip in TWRP and rebooted and Guspeed's RedFX theme I was using is still there with nothing affected, have you tried reflashing the theme you were using??

Yeah what I'm saying is from a clean flash of the from I flashed the multi fix rebooted and then rebooted into cwm and flashed carbon lite and nothing. So what I did was another clean flash then installed redfx then the fix. Everything the then except the Widgets in the notification drop down and the play store icon

Which is exactly one reason why it would be really nice if you could test on an SD card. This would be really handy for development, and no worries about wearing out the on-board flash... Some things you can't help for, but this would be something we could do to prevent flash death. I was not aware his prevail did hardware suicide, that's a real shame.:(

If that happened would he develop again?
 
How do I install the multifix zip? Will this affect apps that are currently installed? My phone has been freezing a lot. Does this update help?

WEll....... if it's a zip....... and it's a fix....... then I guess you need to flash it in CWM. :D

Dunno about the other because I haven't flashed it.
 
Were some of the ringtone notification sounds removed in the CTMod 3.75? I am looking for a ringtone notification sound that I used to use in 3.68 which does not seem to be there anymore. I do not remember the name of the ringtone, but it was a continuous notification sound.
 
Not sure what ringtone or notification sound you look for, however, I have all the original CTMod3.68 sound files and many others more..... I can zip them up and make it available for you if you'd like.....sometime this afternoon.....

After installing CTMod 3.75 and the Multifix, Superuser is denying Koumamod access automatically somehow. I hit accept on everything I've seen. Koumamod isn't listed in the apps section of Superuser. Any ideas?

There's no problem with the MultiFix.zip Jack, I just found out by trying to flash CarbonLite that it was a bad download so I turn around and redownloaded it and it flashed with no problem, so try redownloading the theme again and it should go through without a hitch, check the size of the theme zip before flashing it to make sure it downloaded fully, hope this helps... :)

Hey Slayer I'm not jack but i have had the same problem since i flashed multifix the power widget pulldown goes to stock and my volume bar goes to stock also play store and i know the download isnt bad bc it is the same one i had working before...I wish i never flashed the multizip bc i didnt even need it!!! lol
 
I imagine some of the problems related to multi fix.zip and themes has to do with the fact that it contains systemui.apk... and part of theming involves editing systemui.apk :(

Sadly, this means that any theme will essentially wipe whatever changes were made to systemui.apk when you flashed the multifix

EDIT- the change to systemui.apk MAY have just been to fix the WiFi icon... if this is the case, then the themes are fine.

@blood- what all did you change in systemui?
 
That's what I thought when I looked at it too, but the installer script also mentions 'lag fix' and I just wanted to make sure :)

For future reference, the ringtones and notifications can be found in the zip under system/media/audio. Anytime you find a ringtone or notification that you want from another ROM just look there and transfer them to the same location in your ROM so you can use them.:D

Actually you can just make a folder on the SD card labeled ringtones and put them in there. The phone will read them. Haven't tried it with just a folder labeled notifications but I'm sure it would work too.

The reason I told him to do it that way was so he could better familiarize himself with his files system and get comfortable working in there.
 
Idk if anyone had problems and have posted about it but YouTube won't let me subscribe to anything unless I get Google play services. So I went to the market and tried to get play services and gives me an error and won't install. If the multi fix.zip is for that OK...but I don't want super user or the wifi fix.

for fully working youtube you'll have to download and flash this: Goo.im Downloads - Downloading gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip and do a factory wipe, thats the only way since google started using the play service.
 
Thanks Blood...this is by far the best rom for the prevail. I've tried all of them and keep going back to CT...thanks again!
 
I'm wondering if people or when people have flashed the fix, have you seen any improvement? Mine seems to run great without it.
