Root [ROM] CTMod 3.80 (04/06/13)

I re flashed my theme plenty of times after multi fix and the volume bar stays stock and playstore also the wifi icon goes back to being backwards....do I have to start from scratch?

Which theme? Shouldn't make a difference like blood said, also shouldn't have to start from scatch.

The fix doesn't have a single thing to do with the volume bar or the play store.
 
I am using ctnak'd glass and the playstore isnt in glass the wi fi icon is green when wifi is off and the volume and download bar is white (Don't Care About that and it might be how it is but thought it was different)....this all happened after multi fix

thanks guys for your replies i am really confused why it would be doing this doesnt make much sense to me

Edit: ok re downloaded ctnakd glass and wifi widget works and then uninstalled updates on playstore and it turned directly into glass
 
Ok after I uninstalled the updates in playstore the icon becomes themed instantly but after a while the playstore automatically updates and the theme of the icon vanishes anybody know how I can get the themed icon to stay?

put both apk's on your computer and swap the icons, then rename the new apk to Vendor.apk and push it to /system/app/
 
OK blood I appreciate the help but I'm still having problems with youtube and play services. I flashed the gb-apps zip and didn't fix anything. I did everything u said. YouTube is working but can't sign in or subscribe without play services. Still won't install manually. Gives me an error saying something about other applications sharing user ID

*idk what other apps that may be the problem. I don't have anything in my apps except YouTube, tapatalk, and avast.

You have to flash gapps and then do a factory reset, boot up, open the market and let it update to the play store, go back into it and update all your Google apps to the newest versions, install the play services and you should be good.
 
Gosh I hate to be the only one having problems but still isn't working...oh well. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong

**NM I got it finally....thanks bloodawn for this rom and the help. Its the best!
 
Killer ROM. Fast and sleek. Only issue I have is the initial connection to download apps in Play. Seems to take forever to initiate a download. Had same issues with previous versions. Cleared dalvik, etc, etc, same happens in data and ssm kk settings.

Any remedy?
 
no have removed anything comepletely fresh install after losing all data and os with twrp backup manager. but before ar after even with multi fix no bluetooth.
 
Been having issues with the phone freezing very often. I want to try and start over from scratch. Could someone please confirm if these are the right steps or if I am missing some steps.

Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache and dalvik-cache
Reflash CTMod 3.75
Flash MultiFix
Flash Removed Apps (Google Talk)
SDpart and partition to 6GB fat and 2GB ext4
Kouma setting and select data
Format SD-Ext
Reboot System
Then reinstall all my apps

Thanks. Ok so I am to reboot recovery after each flash and I am to partition after I reboot after selecting Data mode, got it thanks.

You already partitioned your card before didn't you? It's a one time thing, you don't have to do it every time you flash the rom.
 
When I move data to ext then reboot it freezes, it doesn't make it to the boot animation, sticks at "Android" on the screen.

With all resources off except wifi this rom drains my battery quick, don't know what the problem might be.

Can you get a logcat while its stuck?
 
This is the mod i am using. Hello. I've had this transform, maybe a year, not quite a year, in, general, I like it better than the stock app. It does seem to use more battery, at the same time, I use my phone differently. I keep the wifi on, I also keep the gps on now. I originally did this (installed cwm then this mod) in an attempt to fix my camera. Neither the front or back is working, this didn't help that, nobody told me it would, I just thought it up on my own. Rock On!!!
 
This stuff blows my mind. Not as easy as it looks, and then, it's really not as easy as it looks!!! You nice people rock! I don't even OWN A GLAXY PREVAILS a** but I do use this mod. AND IM STOKED IT'S WORKING GREAT. I am sad because there's really only two mods anyone would want. ct, and, idev. can't find a linky to explosion, and, megatron talkin' bout, partitioning the sd card from the recvery menu and what if his S*** don't work, ... though, hats off to the project.

Love this stuff!!!
