I just read about the bluetooth is anyone else having bluetooth issue's?
I also have them, I am not running this but I think I may know why its an issue.
I run deodexed apps and framework, as I see this does, maybe the bluetooth.apk doesnt like it.
did you do a extreme optimization after the deodex? I've noticed some apks it screws up
edit:nvm i just tried the regular deodexed apk's for bluetooth and had the same problem
just put the apps you want back into the zip before putting rom into sd card. Maps i can understand its a big file and free on market. But by removing search/dialer...the search button doesnt work anyone(expect within apps)
Also blood stated he doesnt use A2SD...i think CTMod started as a personal rom he decided to share(*i think!) so...unless he decides to change it..your going to have to do a2sd before hand. Its not that hard really.

after further research I dont think its the actual deodexing, did you do a extreme optimization after the deodex? I've noticed some apks it screws up

I was able to recreate the problem without deodexing I am thinking it might be a .nomedia file where it should not be. Where I still dont know though.
I added .nomedia to most of the system folders, as we did for froyo.
Here is a link directly to that post:I'm also having bluetooth issues and email.apk issues. When I turn on bluetooth it continues to media scans and what looks like a warm boot until I am able to disable BT.
Email continually force closes whenever I attempt to run it.
DUUUHHH! lol i know man just beina goof. I installed google search for it as it is what it usually comes with and it still has no function.search button doesn't do anything cause there isn't a app installed that uses it
looks like the problem with bluetooth has to be one of the apk's
i odined back to stock rooted GB and it worked, then i installed koumakernal and it still worked, then i replaced the app folder with the one from ctmod and bluetooth started rebooting the phone again
a complete deodex'd app folder works tho
edit: ok figured it out. for some odd reason bluetooth in gingerbread requires Music.apk lol. It didn't need it in froyo dunno why it does now
edit2: found out what was wrong with the Email.apk
sure. after i spent an afternoon getting it all setup again, an update! I can't wait! I learn something new each time i re-install, and this is by far the most logical approach I have seen yet. I mean your rom. start minimally and build up.

hmm, sounds good, I just restored my image from before now I will add the music.apk back in and see if it fixes it on my end.looks like the problem with bluetooth has to be one of the apk's

Cool are you going to release an update or just a howto: on how to fix it? I don't really want you putting stuff in the CTMOD install unless you absolutely have to. A simple howto would be great though![]()
I pulled the music.apk from my deodexed folder and put it on and bluetooth works perfectly, damn weird using music.apk like that.pull GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk out of the app zip in the first post and move it to /system/app then reboot and your button will work
EmailFix.zip
BlueToothFix.zip
ill wait till i get some more shit together before i update the rom so heres some fixes. If you don't use Bluetooth or the Email.apk don't worry about flashing them

Thanks a ton Bloodawn for all your hard work. This is the one that gave me the best results
Hmmm... Test2.zip seems to be giving me better results but neither one has given me consistent results so it could be my location. Would it help you if some more people tested those for you blood? I could try to put together results from a location I get more useful numbers if those would help...
P.S the Bluetooth zip am I supposed to flash in cwm? I did this after a fresh install of the mod yet Bluetooth issue still remains![]()
ath:Just tried flashing your ctmod on top of shabby .9 on ee14 and im getting a bootloop now. I have tried all sorts of restore/resets/stock flashes and nothing is fixing the bootloop.
If there are any ideas/suggestions, I would be more than greatful to hear them
/EDIT
Just rebooted into cwm5 and im getting lots of
cant mount /dev/stl13(invalid argument)
cant mount /dev/stl14(invalid argument)
I think I messed something up lol
